It's an old art, but it's good to see it in Canonical sources.

 

The art's all redrawn, but much of it is based directly on previously canon sources.

 

My rule-of-thumb is, if it's canon, Pablo will unambiguously say it's canon. If it's not canon, Pablo will give evasive answers of the "Wookieepedia can decide for themselves" variety. Gotta read between the lines with that guy sometimes I suspect there is concern that directly stating that this or that new product is not considered canon will harm sales, which isn't an unreasonable thing to be worried about.

 

Could anyone post the image of Brendol Hux in the Galactic Atlas book? This is the first time he's been pictured, so I'm eager to see what he looks like. Thanks!

I can't wait for this book! That space battle of Endor map looks great, I expect to see a lot of cool named ships.

I already noticed some DP-20 Corellian gunships, which hopefully means they are canon at being part of the Alliance fleet at Endor.

Ah, I was wondering just how much of Tatooine was inhabited: if it was just the one slice we go too or if there settlements all across the planet.

 

The line, under the ANH section is "Inhabitable only in one small area of its northern hemisphere..." There are multiple Tatooine maps, in fact. The ANH one shows areas in more detail than the TPM one earlier in the book.

Local WH Smiths had this today but it's pretty large. As I was walking I passed. I might stick it on my next Amazon UK order though.

 

I flipped through it real quickly so I can't really comment. I might put the order in on the weekend since I should be around for delivery next week.

Could see a lot of cool stuff, nothing spoilerish, but just in case:

I could see half of a map from Dathomir, and there was a Rancor in it, so they are keeping that from the old EU.
It's nice to see they included maps for planets that are not in the movies. I believe I saw a map for Christophsis in the trailer.
Clicking "surprise me" in the Look Inside preview, I could see a map from Endor (sadly not much of Wildlife besides Gorax and Yuzzum) and for The Battle of Endor in space, there's a picture of Admiral Rae Sloane in there.
In the bottom of the map from Kamino, there are pictures of a lot of the CLone Commanders.
There's an green creature called "Elaphot" in Dagobah, is that new? Don't remember it.

 

The elaphot is maybe from So You Want To Be A Jedi?
