    need more people!

Anyone want to join the Orks? All the food and glory you want, that is of course if the huge hordes battle lines dont get shredded to pieces.

To the other GMs, are we using a point system or no?

At first, us GMs will guide players through the Eye of Terror campaign and be highly interactive with the players. As players get a good feel for the galaxy of the 41st Millenium, we good ole' gms will then promote the players to lead their own regiments in campaigns across the galaxy. GMs will still interact with the players but they will be more independant. We will still use points but I'd like to run a PM discussion with you and the other gms on further detail on that.

JarJar: A Demon Prince is a pretty tough and nasty character. Demon Princes are lords of chaos who are highly favoured of the dark Gods and are then bestowed the gift of demon-hood for their atrocities. They are the type that would lead an entire Chaos Space Marine army into battle. They would be a very likely promotion option but to start out I don't think so. I'll finish putting up the Space Marine unit List and then start on Chaos. And what do you mean 'insane'? :p

Davo_Fett: The Lost and the Damned are Chaos Cultists. Unfortunately they are ill-equipped because these cults rise from the civilian population. They're often used as shocktroops and sabotagers in the heart of Imperial cities, throwing planetary defenses off-balance during the initial stages of a soon to follow Chaos Space Marine invasion of a planet.

Most of the Imperium has access to the weapons I previously described so unless you want to drive a tank or land speeder, you can go ahead and start equipping yourselves if you signed up as a member of the Imperial Gaurd or Space Marines.

Units with Jumpacks form into Assault Squads which excell in close combat so they equip close combat weapons and pistols mostly.

Heavy Weapons units form into Devastator Squads.

Tactical Squads are the basic infantry units and carry the light weapons such as bolters, plasma guns and what not.

Veterans may either lead a squad or form into veteran squads which also hold lighter weapons like the Tactical Squad.

This is just to start with. I'll go into more detail when I finish up the Space Marine data. We'll start playing soon.

I got a good glimpse at the Eye of Terror Codex and apparently the Lost and the Damned are a little better than the simple Chaos Cultists. They are actually entire armies of Imperial Guardsmen gone bad.

Welcome Jaina, I should have mentioned though that humans in 40k still use names similar to our own. They can range from simply Joey to Octavian or whatever you like.

As a lieutenant, I have assigned you to the 227th Cadian Rifles Regiment. You will lead Green Platoon of Red Company. You have 4 squads of infantry in your platoon and 1 mortar squad at your disposal.

Imperial Guardsmen have access to most of the weapons that the Space Marines do along with lasguns. Which is a smaller, weaker sibling of the lascannon. However, only IG Officers have power weapons at their disposal and none can have Space Marine Armour. Instead, they use a flak armour or a carapace armour of rigid plates of plastoid or ceramite which is only a half step down from a full suit of power armour.

JarJar120- you should equip yourself first. Just choose the weapons you like best and I'll assign you to a squad.

    Cadian System: Solar Mariatus-

An entire Company of Black Legion Chaos Space Marines have moved into the Edge of the Cadian System along with an Ork raiding party and are landing forces on Solar Mariatus to gain a beach head in system. They hope to make quick work of the planetary defense network and secure munitions for other advance forces that will soon be in-bound by hitting the largest base first then sweeping away the leaderless and confused Gaurdsmen in smaller and more remote storage facilities and bases one by one.

To keep it simple for now, the base that will be raided will have a basic octagon shaped Adamantium Wall standing 20 meters tall and 3 meters thick, forming a final perimeter with Gates on the Northern and Southern Walls. An Earth Shaker Cannon stands atop each corner of the wall overlooking three battle trenches encircling the wall. The trenches are spread roughly a kilometer apart and have a number of pillboxes in the gaps between trenches. Pillboxes and trenches are connected to the main base via underground tunnels rigged with explosives so that enemies can't make use of them. Following two kilometers out as the frontline defense is another series of pillboxes, a final trench, and an obstacle course of tank traps and razor wire fences. Razor Wire Fences can be clipped by wire cutters mounted on tanks but tank traps will slow them down. Likewise, tank traps are easily manuvoured around by infantry but razor wire can not be passed by the infantry safely. Inside the base itself are massive munitions storage facilities and factories, troop barracks, and a fortified command center with a lascannon, Anti-Air guns, and searchlight mounted on the roof. Next to this is a landing platform with escape shuttles on it.

Chaos and Orks must work their way up to the base facilities and nuetralize the command center along with the troop barracks. The storage facilities and factories must remain intact at all costs. If possible, destroy the escape shuttles with heavy weapons teams before they can take off, however, this is only secondary to securing the base.

The Imperial Guard and Space Marine units stationed at the base must prevent the enemy from reaching the facilities and ward off the attack.

    Chaos Space Marines

    "Hehehe....bang!"

Legions apon legions of his dark majesty's marines strode forwarth twards the encampments infront of them. Be it that they outnumbered their enemy infront of them, the battle would be fierce still. Only with the help of the orcs on their flank, would this become an easy victory. Up from afar, the first few groups of Terminators began to Deep Strike twards their targets. From the rear, Rhino's full to the brim with khorne bersekers swarmed up twards the front lines, not stopping for any enemy troops that got caught unter their treads. From the left, came the bike squadrons to become a fast attack twards the enemy. But they would not attack untill told to do so. In the rear, came the tall and powerful Dreadnaughts. With their age and fire power, they would be a match for anything the puny imperials could match against them.

IC - Wolf Lord Ragnar Blackmane

The rumble of war engines filled the young Wolf Lord's ears. Mud flowed over his armoured feet, and the fear from the Imperial Guard troops assailed his senses. From his fellow Wolf-Brothers, he only sensed aggitation and eagerness.

He knew what they wanted. To rush the enemy in glorious combat. But the battleplan called for them to be in the first trench, ready to lead the assault at the given time. And Ragnar knew the importance of a battle plan.

Brother Thorolf, encased in the Terminator armour of one of the Wolf Guard stood close, a pack of eager Blood Claws near him. Grey Hunters - three packs worth - were further down the line - with another pack of Blood Claws and Brother Olaf. The last two Wolf Guard - Brothers Haggar and Roc stood ready in the middle. And, like a sea of calm in the midst of chaos, stood the Wolf Priest Ulrik the Slayer, and a Rune Priest, Doongard.

Ragnar smiled a grim smile. Chaos would be torn asunder this night with this force. And that was not all. Two Long Fang packs waited further back to cover any retreat and provide heavy fire, and two Blood Claw bike packs were in hiding with two packs of scouts for a flank assault. And, most devastating of all, three Dreadnaughts and a sole Leman Russ battletank.

Feeling the weight of his bolt pistol in his hand, and the hilt of his chainsword against his stomach, Ragnar stood ready for the storm.

As the hordes of chaos began to spew forth from the horizon a wave of fear and dread seemed to rush ahead of it. Commisair Enjoras looked to Lt. Twyla Tel'anhfor a moment, to the Space Wolf Battle Brothers on his other left, then back to the hordes coming in from all sides drawing ever closer. Then the dead silence was broken first by the distant sound of the rhino tank treads and the clamourings of the Ork mobs and fell cries of Chaos Space Marines. Almost immediatly the ringing of Earthshaker Cannons echoed across the plains like a bell, their deadly shells racing for various transport and infantry clusters. Anti-Air weapons mounted on the main base command tower struck out at the thunderhawk gunships that tried to deploy the terminators and they found that they could not drop them any closer than the second battle trench safely. Soon, the battle cannons of several Leman Russ Battle Tanks came to bear on the enemy. Around the first trench they began to open fire into the enemy but all this would do little to stop the charge despite casaulties. The Chaos Rhino transport tanks were now at the front line with the other fast attack units. Commisair Enjoras could see flashes coming from the pill boxes and tanks that lay infront of the first trench. He clutched his bolter tightly, muttering a quick prayer to the Emperor. It would only be a moment before the enemy would be past the initial defenses...

Gorin- That's good but at the moment I'll have to be your commanding officer then, unless you want to create a higher ranking character like a Warlock or Farseer?

Ahh, see, you missied it. The Wraithlord IS a Farseer, a dead farseer brought back and put in a wraitlord. He's a special character i made.

He is the commander of the Iyanden craftworld, a Former Farseer that, becuse of the great need of the Craftworld in it's defense against the Tyranids, was brought back to be a wraithlord. He has the same rules as a wraithlord, but has all the Farseer powers, among othger modifications, allowing him to carry two heavy weapons.

The ork commander knew this would be the battle to the death, and he was proud. The Terror Ship begun to open its guns and poured fire across the Tau line. A lot of the Ram ships were destroyed in the Tau missile salvo, but the remaining targeted the Tau Cap. ship and rammed into it. The Ravagers were boarded by the pathetic Orcas, in response the Space Hulks boarded the missile destroyers, 1 hulk per destroyer. The troops began to stream into the ships, this boarding was a success due to the sacrifice of 2 Savage Gunships.

    Tag: Tau dude

    Remaining Ork Fleet:
    -1 Terror Ship
-3 Ravager Attack Ships (Internal fighting)
    -2 Savage Gunships
-0 Brute Ram Ships (5 destroyed in salvo, 3 rammed the Cap. Ship)
-4 Space Hulks (Each one boarded a seperate destroyer, all loaded with troops)
-numerous Fighters and Fighter-Bomberz (engaging enemy fighters and tigersharks)

IC: Ork Nob at Solar Mariatus

The Rushing Ork mobs kept on charging even though artillery fire came pouring down onto them. The orks returned with thier own artillery barrage, it was weaker but would work. The Ork forces kept going!

The Ork Nob in charge, commanded that the Warbikes should take the left flank, but off course a stupid grunt refused, so the Ork Nob took out his Choppa and sliced the grunts head in two, "Anyone else wanna refuse my Orders?" The rest of the orks carried out his order to flank the left side.

Tag:? is this the same planet with the massive defenses listed above?

    Ork Ground Force
    -1 Nob (acting as Warboss)
-3 Slugga Boy Mobz (30 orks in each mob)
-2 Shoota Boy Mobz (30 orks in each mob)

-2 Kannon Batteryz (3 guns in each battery)
    -2 Ork Dreadnoughts
-2 Killer Kan Mobz (3 killer kans in each mob)
    -2 Battlewagons

    all this is basically this:
    Ork Force:
    HQ
    -1 Ork
    Troops
    -250 Orks
    -180 Gretchin
    Fast Attack
    -9 Warbuggys

    Heavy Support
    -9 Guns (artillery)
