I'd like to be involved in any discussions however since this was my first draft I'd understand if I was excluded.

I am already plotting the demise of The Avenging Blade and its VIP GM. Beware of The Nefarious Newbies.

Meh, if anybody wants my opinion during the discussions, all they have to do is ask. I've been involved in the Drafts since the beginning and am always ready with an opinion or two ;)

So uh...Corran, what are your thoughts on those The Force Knights teams from the past?

Well, let's just say that The Force Knights would have decimated the Avenging Blade :p

    Luke > Sidious
    Mara < Malak
    Corran > Asajj
    Thon > Lumiya
    Kyle > Bandon
    Kenth > Vastor

Switch Thon and Mara, then you'll be on top at every position. :)

    HA. HA. No.

    Luke > Sidious
    Mara < Malak
    Corran > Asajj
    Thon > Lumiya
    Kyle < Bandon
    Kenth < Vastor

    Very true SB.

And considering one of Avenging's Blade biggest threats in this Draft was it's power, and that my team is even superior in power, the Blade would have been broken ;)

Do keep in mind that Suzuki had a longer schedule as well as better drafting by other GMs to deal with. If you didn't have Thon as your 4th rounder and Kyle as your 5th rounder (neither of which you'd get this draft), I sincerely doubt you'd win. This is one of the few places where competition gets harder every time.

If possible, I might be ready to participate in discussion, but I don't care as long as somebody smart is.

Well, we can credit Corran (mostly) for where Thon goes in these drafts. :)

    Here's how I see it:

    1. Luke vs. Sidious - Yes, Sidious is powerful and deserves to go in the Top 3 of the competition, but Luke deserves to go Number 1, and is just that much better.

    Advantage: Luke

    2. Mara vs. Malak - I won't even argue this. Malak is just better.

    Advantage: Malak

    3. Corran vs. Asajj - While he may not have the power, Corran surpasses Asajj in skills with the blade, plus his phenomonal skills at Force Projection would give him the small edge over Asajj, but it would still be close.

    Advantage: Corran

    4. Thon vs. Lumiya - Not even close, Thon would stomp Lumiya.

    Advantage: Thon

    5. Kyle vs. Bandon - Do you know how many Dark Jedi Kyle has sliced up in his time? This guy has more blade to blade experience than almost anyone in the Draft. Desann alone would be able to take down Bandon, and Kyle certainly wouldn't have any trouble with him.

    Advantage: Kyle

    6. Kenth vs. Kar - Outside Haruun Kal, Vastor doesn't have a lot going for him. Kenth, as a Jedi Master, is probably about as strong in the Force and is much better with the blade, as he showed on Yuuzhan'tar, fighting alongside Luke and Mara.

    Advantage: Kenth

Plus, I feel I would able to win in teams as well, mainly thanks to Thon's Battle Meditation.

    ;)

I know that full well. I was just answering SB's question. That's one of the reason's I retired as a GM, because I knew I would probably never be able to Draft that strong a team again. So I decided to retire at the top of my game.

Well, we can credit Corran (mostly) for where Thon goes in these drafts.

Along with Nomi Sunrider, Corran Horn, and a lot of the other NJO Jedi ;)

Corran Horn? He used to go in the first round sometimes, and now he goes where he is supposed to. ;) :p

Yeah, but he's finally getting the actual respect he deserves. He deserves to go in the 2nd round, but people always said he was going too high.

Plus, I like to give myself partial credit for the shift in "Era-power" in the Drafts. Before, it was the PT Jedi that were getting the praise. Now, it is swinging more towards the EU Jedi and less away from the PT Jedi. ;)

Yeah, I thought he was a semi-steal in the 3rd round for me this draft.

I like playing in the drafts. I also liked when I was a judge in the draft. Whatever the decision makers come up with is fine with me as long as the drafts continue. I love you, Jedi Draft.

I still think that Corran doesn't deserve to be drafted until late 3rd round early 4th.
