But if it's a droid impersonating a clone of your sister/brother, does that still make it wrong? (even though it feels so right...)

So now, they are saying that at the conclusion of the first game: "Staaarkiller was left for dead."

Did everyone here about the demo that is coming sometime before release? Should be just the Kamino escape but it's still nice to see a big game releasing a demo, it's happening less and less thesedays.

Latest interview (its awful, btw) from GamesCom2010: Uleashed on Youtube. Its 20 minutes long so its a good thing that the LA-rep says it pretty early on.

    EDIT:
The screenshots from the PC look sweet.
Rhett versus Staaarkiller on one side and Staaaarkiller on the other, with six sabers locked together.
Rhett versus Vader, who is blocking Rhett's lightning with his crimson blade.
Rhett fighting with one red and one blue blade.

If they're having Vader fight, it better mean he's gonna kick some Rhett-class backside this time, or I am seriously done with these games. [face_shame_on_you]

I was simply referring to the whole "TFU sub-franchise", if that's what they want to CALL this steaming pile of bantha excrement. Me? I'm okay remaining immature for life. ;)

It's your choice, but I say you can never be too old for Star Wars. My dad's 40, and he still loves it (he even watches TCW). Still, we'll miss you:( .

As for Staaaaarkiller vs two more Staaaaarkillers...sweet! I hope it isn't mostly condensed into a cutscene or quicktime event.

Final note on the whole leaving thing... I promised in early '08 if they ever canceled KotOR and Legacy, that would signal the end for me. So, when they both got whacked, the writing was clearly on the wall. But hey, January of 2012 has a nice ring to it, and I'm gonna do my best to get 12,000 posts. Plenty of time and topics to debate with ol'triple-S.:p

    ***

Anyways, those screens ARE from the Wii.
They match exactly with the concept art fom the OS...

And is it me, or do we know less about the sequel with two months to go than what we knew comparitively with the first one at the same time?

something came to my mind regarding the "Starkiller was left for dead at end of TFU" thing. It was Vader who said "he is dead" to the Emperor, right? what if, since he knew Starkiller way better than the Emperor due to the years he spent training him, he felt that Starkiller was still alive and masked his Force signature from the Emperor himself? he then just had to take the body away to retrain/clone/wtv.

If Drew Karpyshyn does a book with Zannah, Cognus, and Millennial, I'm probably getting it.

The real question I'm facing goes something like: Is Coruscant Nights IV worth the risk?

I'm pretty satisfied with how the "whole" Bane and Zannah story went, 12 years after the first mention. But if that particular story was put to ink, I'm sure I will get it. Zannah's in my top five of Sith after Ambria and I definitely want to know how she was surpassed and defeated by Cognus. My interest in the Banite-origins, ultimately ends with the naming of Cognus' replacement apprentice. If it doesn't get to print soon enough, I'm sure I'll check Wookieepedia from time to time.:p

I'm not buying, the others have been less than spectacular. I'll check out the summation and read the spoilers.

I don't know about YOU guys, but I INFINITELY prefer Corucsant Nights to The Force Unleashed. I mean, there's no comparison- though I'll admit that the major difference is Vader's characterization. [face_peace]

    From Kotaku:

"As with the original, the sequel to Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be getting different versions of the game for the DS and Wii.

When the original game came out I was deeply disappointed in how those DS and Wii versions played. This time around it sounds like the Wii version, by developers Red Fly, is getting a significant overhaul.

I didn't have a chance to play the Wii version of the game, but in theory the changes sound like they should be moving the game in the right direction.

"The [creators of] Wii version took the same story and design philosophy, but built their own game," said LucasArts assistant producer Cameron Suey. "There is unique content throughout the levels.

"It is more of a companion game."

The Wii version will have its own story and even some unique Force Powers, like Force Sight which will allow you to see invisible enemies and enemies through walls.

The multiplayer aspect of the game also sounds like it is getting a significant overhaul. Multiplayer in the Wii version of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed has you fighting a single opponent in a 3D fighter.

This time around multiplayer will support up to four players on a single screen and the game will play like a 2D brawler, Suey said.

Here's hoping that the game lives up the PS3 and Xbox 360 version of the title."

Oh no, not again! We're going to have - again - conflicting continuity not only between the novel, the comic and the game, but also between different versions of the game itself! Expect different versions to have unique levels, unique enemies and bosses, unique dialogue and - of course - conflicting cutscenes, plot elements and lines. Great Job guys!

Here's what in Zorrixor Dream Land that would translate to:

You play as Vader, chasing his renegade apprentice through the 360 and PS3 levels where Starkiller is trying to escape, culminating in the final battle where you beat his ass into the next life so that this time he can't come back from the dead.

That, for me, would make a true companion game. In other words:

    TFU2: Vader

    =D=

Have that be the canon ending for the whole storyline of TFU2 and it'll be PERFECT!

Sad isn't it. That we have to daydream about the day when Darth Vader beats some no-name, Jedi wanna be's ass. If Lucas was that hell-bent on wrecking Vader's Legacy, he shouldn't have whacked Maul... he should have let the Tatted-Zabrak run around for three movies wreaking havac on the Jedi while working with a Young Tarkin and raising the "Sith are evil, but still cool" bar for the fans. At least we would have seen a Sith Aprentice in action that mattered...

I'd buy THAT and all the DLC-tie-ins they could throw at me.;)

If they made a good videogame where you play as Vader and kick some $*@, I would buy a copy for every console I have, plus the novel, the graphic novel, the action figures, EVERYTHING! =P~

But for now I guress we just have to accept that he is a lackluster man in a suit for now.

I refuse to ever accept that.
He's Vader, and even Lucas cannot destroy his badassery...
