Clone Uprising or Clone Rebellion that Bad Batch teased

And it could be done in one or two seasons. And Dave Filoni loves to still do stories with clones.

 

One or two series of what series?

 

The Clone series that comes after Bad Batch. Be it Clone Rebellion or Clone Uprising

 

Oh like with the Rebels tease we will get another Clone Show again like we got another Rebels show in Ahsoka. Dave Filoni's comments and talking about his love of the Clones. Makes it clear he has plans for future for them.

 

When did he make those the comments ?

 

At the Celebration stage 20 Years of animation panel talked about his love for animation and the Clones.

 

We are likely getting one animated show at a time from Filoni. Maul will probably take the next few years. I don’t think there is any certainty about after that though. Not sure anyone thought Maul would be the next animated show in all fairness

 

why one animated show at a time from Dave ?

 

Just wish they finished TCW properly.

I don't like loose ends.

Before people say "well the show is already done", I say just don't call it "Season 8". Call it something else, maybe "Clone Wars Adventures, or "Tales of the Clone Wars".

Just because the show is over doesn't mean that is the end of stories set during the war. We already have an upcoming game Zero Company set during the conflict.

Over the upcoming years, by releasing all the unfinished arcs.......eventually....it helps to add some variety to all the Empire/New Republic eras stories we have been getting since the ST ended. It also improves the context of already existing stories. Rewatching Boba Fett vs Cade Bane in his show would be different with their clone wars arc released. Post Clone Wars Ventress stories work better with Dark Disciple as animation already seen.

 

True, but we know Dave Filoni loves clones and wants to tell their stories coming in future like a Clone Uprising. And the Path has been teased so many times i think its only a matter of time we get a show with Ventress and Quinlan Vos. And i said they would still do Dark Times era shows for long time and i think i will be right on this.

 

I hope so. My dream would be a Mon Mothma led show set shortly before ep 7.

 

Yeah I agree, I think the Ventress episodes of "Tales" are clearly setting up a new series featuring her and her new young Jedi friend.

 

With The Maul show being mostly a force theme show with mix of Underworld. I think maybe they do another military show like The Clone Uprising/Rebellion before another force/Jedi show like the Path.

 

Lucasfilm Animation can’t crank out two multi-season series at once. They don’t have the manpower or the resources.

 

And if get two its young Jedi Adventures and one big animation show.

 

What about the tales series?

It’s not a full series. Each episode of Tales is shorter than the average episode of TCW/Rebels/Bad Batch etc. And there’s only 6 of them per season, and each season comes out when it comes out as opposed to a hard release schedule. We got Tales of the Jedi in 2022, but didn’t get Tales of the Empire until 2024.

 

We got tales of the underworld a year latter though ?

 

I read online about rumours of a what if series Star Wars. The maul series was rumoured in late 2021. If such series happened would they air it among maul shadow lord ? Or wait until it is over ?

 

Yeah, but they haven’t actually said it’s a show that releases on a yearly schedule though. It’s possible we won’t get another season of Tales next year, it just depends on when they have time to produce them.

With these animated series they often overlap production. So when Bad Batch was airing, they were doing early work on the Maul show at the same time, and then I guess working on Tales in whatever spare time they had. After Bad Batch finished they could probably devote more time to Tales of the Underworld.

 

If it was a bunch of shorts they could do it while Maul shadow Lord was still going on

 

How likely do you think the rumours of a Star Wars what if series are true ?
