Last time I helped myself to a drink in a bar like this they opened a door with my nose escorting me out....I think I'll wait for the bartender.

 

*knocks on the door and enters*

I like the fact that this place is open 24 hours, plus the drinks appear to be free and that's definitely an added bonus.

 

Sooo....I figured this is the right place to post this little notice.

Drinnks all round, to anybody who's here, I got my little girl this morning

She's a chocolate (or seal, not sure) lynx point siamese cross. She looks like a little white tiger, and has spunk and attitude to match, even though she's TINY!

check her out while the pic's up she's the one looking down, but her face is quite like the middle one of her siblings.

Her name is Subaru! but I just call her suba-chan, she's too little yet for a long name.

I'm still emotionally scarred from the Saki ceremony in Japan...*shudders even more*...please please anything but that...I'll even drink Molson's just not THAT!!!!!!!!!!!

So tell us about the saki ceremony when you were in Japan. It sounds like a good story...

well....its was a few years ago..and I had the great honor to be in Japan as part of a very exclusive group of NASCAR teams doing a demonstration race at Twin Ring Motegi.....everything was provided, including a welcome NASCAR dinner, complete with people at the entrance doors who obviously had been praciting the few short english words they had to master "WHISKEY & SODA, WHISKEY, COCA-COLA???"
Needless to say after a few of those...(after a few Molson's gratiously supplied by our Molson's -- our sponsor) The hosts..the people who own Honda....had a traditional Saki Barrel opening ceremony, well the saki came around...we all toasted...and continuted to toast and get toasted. By 10pm we were all rather liquified!!!

Next day was a little rough...and I was the Tire Specialist,which meant running around pushing cartloads of tires back and forth to the goodyear truck, all the time very very hung over......the first pitstop practice was shaky...anywyas....we ended up recovering to drink again (as well as sell some canadian bevi's to some american teams for a considerable markup!)

There is a long silence as Rani watches Victory Base's demolitions expert slam back his beer. Slowly, a smile creeps across her face, as she pulls out a bottle from under the bar.

"You want a whiskey chaser with that, whiskey and soda, or Coca Cola?"

pours two fingers (two very FAT fingers, that is) of scotch into a glass and slides it across the bar to C4, then props her head up on her elbows and waits expectantly for another C4 story.

well......before anyone realized it I was kidnapped and transported back here again....man do I need a beverage now.....amazing how a couple of weeks in the OK makes you thirsty!

No no no no....that wasnt the story..that was more a reference to the fact that I was abducted by the evil "work related travel" monster for a couple of week......I have stories alright...but the TOS and I would have an informal meeting of the minds for some of them.....now....pass me that scotch

Hello Rani and C4. I hope that everyone is doing well in Victoria. We are having a heat wave in Ontario as It has been 34C for the last several days with thehumidity it makes it feel like 42C. One extreme to another I suppose.

 

*passes out*
damn....bar,......one of them fairy bars, ya know......far too many drinks...and now I am staggering back to my home base.....*knocks over various seating items*.......oh goodness.....*faints again*......*sits up*....TARBENDER!!!!!!! BEVERAGE!!!!!!!!

*passes 0ut into a bowl of nachos*....damn this cheese is hot.....*falls off of stool bearing cheese battlewounds*....END THE OPPRESSION!!!!>..*faints in the bathroom*
