For me, it's less the price and more the availability. Likely due to a publishing mess with Egmont doing similar to Panini - nab the UK rights, don't publish the books.
The best option is Blackwell's, a couple of others, but it varies. Amazon UK isn't that good on the US YA SW books.
If they will win and survive, the Council will probably give them indulgence so that they would not need to hide their love relationship any longer, Bastila and Revan style.
Anyone reading Into the Light by Claudia Gray? Very interesting, considering the planet and species mentioned within these spoiler tags.
I have only read the Light of the Jedi, and plan on doing the entire series. What is your honest opinion on the High Republic series? Do you enjoy it?
Its a mixed bag. A lot of different styles. I think phase 2 is the most focused and the best. But it is not closely related to the other parts.
IMO, THR is the most successful in NU Canon with new characters that are either outright heroes or outright villains, but has problems with ones in between. Except for Marda Ro, who is the best character in the project, double plus for her not being one of common SW character archetypes.
I've been watching original Kung Fu series. There should be a story set on the Phase 2 frontier of THR akin to Kung Fu. A Jedi Wayseeker wandering the frontier, espousing Jedi wisdom to people as they right wrongs, with flashbacks to their time at a Jedi temple or outpost. The whole concept has ripe for conversion to the GFFA.
Love this idea. I think it's ideally a series of comic minis - more episodic in nature and with unlimited location budget to tell different types of stories on different types of planets
looks like the speices that just wants to return home has somehow crossed over to trying to be the Left handed God
So, I apologize if this is a stupid question and/or if it's been asked and answered before, but does anyone know if the two High Republic audio novels (Seeds of Starlight and Haunted Starlight) will ever get a release as physical books the way the scripts for the audio dramas have? Just curious because I'm trying to get caught up on the High Republic in general right now, and I've never been much of an audiobook fan. Thank you!
I also think it could work for Obi-Wan on Tatooine. But I like the idea of a wandering Jedi in that era of The High Republic, not wearing Jedi vestments but civilian clothes. There's some of that Old West influenced concept art for THR, including one of Stellan Gios with a cowboy hat and poncho, that needs more exploration. They could do a Lone Ranger thing too.
With Spoiler Czerka reappearing in Into The Light, shady as ever, with Blue Sun analogue it seems like all components for Firefly-style adventures in THR are there (although, without the Lost Cause undertones).
Spoiler: Fear of the Jedi #4 Well, instead of army of Cthulhu there is a Mysterio's plan with drones from SM:Far From Home, too bad.
