And we know Sav participates and is the main character of the High Republic Adventures comics.

Kind of feels like everything is building up to the battle of jedha.

Wonder what will be the main source of info about the battle - comics or audio drama.

So in issue 1 it was mentioned the Jedi used to rule over Jedha.

It wasn't stated why, but I suspect the reason dates back to because of the Sith.

We have already seen the fate of Jedha in an era where the Sith rule with Jedi absence.......

While the ancient Sith don't have a Death Star, if they could, they would have destroyed Jedha along time ago through other means. It is because of Jedi protection/control over Jedha that is is still standing.

Even with the Ancient Sith "extinct", I think because the galaxy was still going through a tough time of rebuilding, the Jedi still kept an important role over Jedha for centuries until the galaxy status got a lot better.

Makes me wonder if we might see the return of Jedi Lords in some capacity, protecting worlds like jedi from being ravaged by the sith.

I was honestly expecting him to be "dead" longer, though in any case I am very excited to see where the story goes. And cool to see pyschometry return.

I suspect that we will get other POVs of the same event, complementary but also independent

Wait really? They first planned to put history 10 000 BBY? I never heard that before.

They mentioned it when they were talking about the brainstorming phase about what they could do and come up with. They specifically mentioned 10,000 years into the past so I would imagine doing something in that time period was at least discussed for awhile.

There’s a line in Claudia Grey’s Master & Apprentice where someone mentions that the Jedi Order in its modern iteration is 10,000 years old, so I wonder if that was connected.

I remember they also could go 200 years into the future if they wanted to do so. I would have loved both directions.

Battle of Jedha already huh? That is fast - I was expecting it to be the captsone event of everything. I guess that will likely be the Battle of Dalna instead.

I like the nameless using fear to cause a brawl between the various force users in the middle of a riot, fun way to show off what exactly the different groups are capable of. Also a creative use of nameless abilities rather than them just petrifying people all the time.

Wonder if the E'ronoh and Eiram forces will show up in the battle. I mean, they haven't been mentioned in the comic yet so that would be a big thing to throw into these ongoing storylines...but on the other hand they were the guys actually fighting the battle of jedha in the book of the same name so it is a bit weird to leave them out. Plus, personally I would love some visuals of their cultures and equipment.

The timeline of the Battle of Jedha isn't adding up for me. Here we see the riots lead directly into blaming the Path and the fall of the Protector. But there's a whole off page battle being waged between Eirami and E'roni forces, and it doesn't make much sense to me because the audio drama certainly leaves the impression that it's all intermixed and even that the almshouse the Path of the Open Hand is occupying was destroyed by the military factions, not rioters.

Now seems pretty clear to me that Oliviah and the Mother are likely sisters.

Oh no, Tey Sirrek has the infinity gauntlet, now he wil- oh wait, wrong purple guy.

Looking at the covers, it seems likes the Battle of Jeddha is being portrayed as a big riot rather than a battle between the forces of the twin worlds, though I hope we get to see some of that.
