U.S. Counties: The "United Mexican States" ("Estados Unidos Mexicanos") - their official name *confusingly, there;s there federal district of Mexico City, and the separate state of Mexico, withing the country of Mexico. States & Provinces of Northern America (excluding Central and Caribbean): Most of Mexico lives along the one central band that includes Mexico City:
I always liked how the US looks like someone was trying to draw a really intricate map and got bored halfway through. Amazing.
Now this one is humongous: https://www.deviantart.com/axelmaps/art/Map-of-Ancient-Mythological-Greece-Hellas-1027371663
Some of those counties in the western states are at least as big if not bigger than Rhode Island or Connecticut.
If Rhode Island was a county, it would not be in the top 100 counties in area, and neither would Delaware. Connecticut would be 48th (the same as its ranking in state area), between Montana's Beaverhead county and New Mexico's San Juan county. New Jersey would be 18th (treating each state on their own, this doesn't bump down Connecticut), between Nevada's White Pine county and Idaho's Idaho county. New Hampshire and Vermont (Vermont's bigger) would be 14th, between Nevada's Humboldt county and Wyoming's Fremont County. Massachusetts would be 8th, between Nevada's Lincoln County and Wyoming's Sweetwater county. Hawaii would be 7th, between Arizona's Apache county and Nevada's Lincoln county. Maryland would be 6th, between Arizona's Mojave and Apache counties. West Virginia is the first state that is larger than every county. Also, that didn't include Alaska as it doesn't have counties.
I dread the day humanity is finally pushed back to its Tasmanian redoubt, and kangaroos subjugate the Australian continent. It will be a dark day for the nation of Crocodile Dundee when it submits to the marsupial menace.
If you go to Tasmania to escape the kangaroo menace, you will be welcomed by endless kanagroo hobbits, also known as wallabies.
