Wow, that's some damned high median ages especially compared to most African countries. But then there's Japan, which I think is the oldest median age in the world...?

Guess I wouldn't fit in in southern Europe anymore. But bring on the UK and Turkey

 

Considering how much we love to eat I didn't expect Italy to perform so well.

For reference, our state with the lowest obesity rate is Colorado. And that's 22%.

My state is at 32%, or otherwise the same as Turkey.

US Population lines

 

Very interesting. I didn't realize there even were slaves in Nebraska and Utah.

 

Utah wasn't a state yet, so the various compromises wouldn't have affected the legality there. However, the status of slavery in Nebraska was tied to the Kansas-Nebraska act, and what happened was a preview of the civil war in Kansas.

 

I just know about the Border War history and the Missouri compromise because I grew up in Missouri you see

And it's pronounced "Zam-BEY-zee" not "Zam-BEE-zee" for the Zambezi River. Not related to this map, I just wanted to make sure everyone knew that because I was looking at Zambia.
