    Okay, so I posted my “review” of the show earlier before I actually watched the recording on my DVR. It was actually terrible. They actually let the two parties argue directly with each other for extended periods of time, obviously trying to recreate the dynamic from the Jerry Springer show. Jerry sort of lazily observes the verbal sparring before he anemically delivers his ruling. This is just a really, really poor ersatz Judge Judy. I don’t see it being a success.

    the acting on the jerry springer show got progressively more awful as it fell out of the mainstream, and they likely struggled to find people who were familiar with it. thus the comically large security guards being strategically placed to keep things flowing.

    this sounds more like extreme akim (an actual lawyer here in charleston, with endless advertisements) than judy. nobody compares to judy.
