Was it destroyed? where is that said.

 

I do not recall the exact source but something TROS related when we got Mustafar greening and the like. Kylo walked by the ruins of it or remnant of it. Novelisations? Visual Dictionary? Something with Kylo and the Oracle?

From the wording I got it was destroyed and ruins and stones from the blast littered where Kylo walked by. Can't be sure if it even was Kylo who did it! But the cult that defended the Oracle and was cut down in TROS beginning in the forest had to do with it.

 

It's LEGO, not Canon.

As far as I'm concerned the Lego Holiday Special is as canon as the films. Especially why Rey and Finn's characters stand

 

I think it makes more sense to take it more like the Freemakers. Elements are doubtlessly canon, but most of it is just Lego silliness.

Rey didn't literally time travel, but she probably had a kind of Dickensian Force vision, probably guided by Yoda or the other Jedi spirits.

In the same way, Vader's castle doesn't have to have been destroyed in LEGO, and in Canon it could be a Poe has some strangle encounters in the ruins. Graballa doesn't have to be turning it into a Sith themed hotel in Canon.

As for upcoming Lego canon additions: Bonus points if Graballa mentions his new idol, Beldorion the Hutt, given his Dark Side fetish.

 

I love that jazzy sweet talking Hutt from the freemakers. Man, he cracked me up along with Roger.

 

So, why haven't we seen any promotions for the Halloween special, yet?

 

Because the Halloween candy isn't even in the stores yet!

 

My CVS has been decorated for Halloween since July

 

My local supermarket has Halloween candy and decorations out already, and Dillard's in my area has Halloween jewelry.

Not as far as we know, but it's possible they'll be in the opening or closing scenes around Poe's mission here. He's the focus of the framing story.

Ok, let's see here:
-We can see Grabala is actively reconstructing Vader's palace here. And hey, it is one of those crane walkers from the Mandalorian, cool.
-Love the Vader animtronic. (Makes me wonder if theme parks in universe have droids of the characters)
-I got a good chuckle out of the inside lightning joke
-Ren wearing a shirt? Madness. (But seriously, interesting to see more of the KoR in action)
-Luke as an imperial pilot au huh? Interesting.
-I also enjoyed the shining joke at the end there. (Also, first time in a while I have seen a battledroid with a different voice actor. I wonder why, since the main guy has done a lot of lego stuff before)

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. I hope future works go with this, rather than ignoring the lego stuff altogether.

Seriously, I like the idea of famous locations from the films becoming tourist attractions - in particular I loved that in legends Tatooine became a big skywalker themed tourist trap. It is amusing and silly, and yet also feels like it makes sense to happen.

Agreed. Easily one of my favorites from that series, one I would love to see out of lego.

Also I hope his casino shows up on the Canto Bight level of the Lego Skywalker Saga.

Who knows. If he's, say, 30 when he goes mad and becomes Vader's attendant (c.12 BBY), he'd be 77 in 35 ABY. 70s or 80s, I'd say, and he's got a suitable ROTJ Palpatine vibe about him in the trailer.

gonna have to give that a re-read before this, kind of reminds me how the Lego Threepio DLC level for Lego TFA was an adaptation of the Threepio comic.

 

Or how the Crawl for Lego TFA also set up the idea that Poe and Lor San Tekka rendezvous at Jakku even though they met before.
