@Glitterstimm Muncy & Conforto both homered in yesterday's game, which may not happen again all season. :p

@LMTShawn, @DarthIntegral Any chance the ending of this Dodgers/Guardians series gets played tomorrow? Doesn't look good for today.

@Jedimarine You wonder how much longer their offense can keep this up since both their rotation and bullpen is being held up by duct tape and bubble gum. Steele out the year and Shota continuing to have hamstring issues is not good. Horton has looked good though since they called him up but Brown has been so inconsistent. One start he looks like a world beater. The next? An egg beater. My guess is once Shota comes up they move him to the bullpen since they need help down there desperately. But it's been a fun season so far and hopefully they can keep it up.

    Meanwhile..

Yikes what a dumpster fire. Paying KB what is turning into a $200 million retirement plan is going to go down as one of the worst FA deals in history. And I'm a huge KB fan. I assume he be hitting 30-40 HRs batting about .280 hitting at Coors Field while DHing and playing a bit out of the outfield for them while they can continue to develop some young talent. Instead he is pretty much done and they got no young talent. Just a disaster.

@Luke02 Well said in that post! I feel the same way about the Cubs, Rockies and Kris Bryant. Rockies have bad ownership and management.

On that note, the Rockies are in Chicago this week. I always enjoy that because all of the games are televised locally, so I can watch them all. I didn't catch the first game, but watched last night along with playoff basketball and hockey. The Cubs eked that one out with a walk-off! Their offense has hit a lull in this series. I assume some credit goes to the Rockies.

The skies look terrible right now. But it being a 1 pm start, probably means yes. Although I'd put the over/under at 3.5 for the number of rain delays. We could also just forfeit and forgo another beating?

No idea how that happened. Also, no idea how Nolan Jones had 3 hits. Raises his season average to a lofty .194

I heard about the Dodgers' game today. Jeez, they're going to be hungry to get back in the winning column as soon as possible. I'd be concerned for any team that they're playing coming up this weekend.
