Favreau confirmed certain sequences are shot for IMAX. Stoked for that flex.

 

I think Mando S2 opener had IMAX footage intended for a theatrical release then covid-19 made that not happen

 

Looks like we get our buff hutt

 

Looks like the AT-AT are the Rebels versions that we also see in Fallen order video game. So not the ESB ones. And from the teaser it looks like Zeb will be a Main character in this like Chewie was in OT. Lots of good action and motions. Baby Yoda will sell this movie.

 

«Messy, very messy» to quote Sigourney Weavers character from the leaked clip. It looks like fun, cool and messy - in a good way. Weaver brings some humanism into alll the tech action. Did not hear Grogu speak though. Some epic scaled Star Wars action filmed in IMAX is long overdue, i can deal with that for sure.

Well certainly Stinky ain't like his father in terms of appearance. I'm just curious if his personality will be completely different from what we expect from a Hutt. Namely being a criminal-minded boss.

Though I do think it's telling that Rotta is spending more time wrestling than actually ruling an empire.

 

Haven't seen the footage but is Stinky basically Garkus the Hutt now?

 

He’s muscular, yes. No mechanical legs though.

 

So between Mandalorian season 3, Mandalorian and Grogu and Ahsoka season 2. Zeb gets around and will be busy. Besides Chopper he will be our first main Rebels main character in a movie. He is like Carson Teva appearing all over.

Dave said Zeb is in Ahsoka season 2 because Zeb was in Mandalorian and Grogu so much and Dave wanted his toy back. Year of Zeb!!!

 

Footage looks good! Focused primarily on the action but I'm just really excited to see these characters on the big screen.
