If you believe the Jedi were as bad as the Sith (or in sometimes worse) then you have a very twisted perception.

Pretty much agree with all of this. Well said!

Imo anakins turn does not vindicate the Jedi, it shows that the Jedi mishandled him from the beginning.

Theyre used to training recruits from birth and gettig full control over them frommthe start, but Anakin was 9yo and had already developed attachments and a way of life and yet the Jedi still tried to shoehorn their usual training methods onto him, which ended up failing spectacularly. Telling someone to let go, rejoice in someones death, might work for someone who has only ever known that, but Anakin already loved his mother and grew attached to Padme. Telling Anakin that just didnt/couldnt compute and left him open to other influences (the dark side) that would better serve his emotions and lifestate.

Imo This is ultimately vindicated by luke in the OT, as he disobeys the jedis 'wisdom' and ends up saving the galaxy. Luke was much older than even Anakin so he wasnt in as much of a transintional period of his life and so had developed/learned( from his family and upbrining) the belief and confidence in his attachments and emotions to pursue them in a proper, righteous way.

The OT shows that emotions and attachment do not have to be in conflict with being a jedi/righteous force user. If Anakin was given positive love and reinforcement he could have developed the power to use both in tandem. Instead the emotions and attachments he had already developed were stunted and repressed by the Jedi, which caused him to beincapable of handling them, and which lead to the destruction of both him and the order.
