    Hi there everyone,

3 computers, including my precious laptop, crapping out in one way or another on me today and I need a break. Back to finding frivolous ways to spend money and expand my ridiculous Star Wars knowledge base.

    So here I go.

I'm considering hunting down the Adventure Journal issue #11 due to it's inclusion of the short story "The Most Dangerous Foe", being the only part of the Old Republic Era I do not own and don't know a darn thing about. My question is this, does anyone have it that they can provide a recap of the content (length, storyline, characters, connections to other stories/characters), and can I get an opinion as to whether it's worth hunting down and paying what will undoubtedly be a large amount of cash for, judging from the previously ended ones I've seen on Ebay?

As I said, I'm pretty proud of my Old Republic collection, and am torn as to whether plunking down 30 odd bucks or more on a single Adventure Journal.

    Thanks. :)

    Here's the TimeTales summary:

After three years of training under the Omwati Mistress Tannis, 16-
year old Alderaanian Jedi student Vici Ramunee has completed her lightsaber
construction at the Jedi Praxeum ("learning center") of Teya IV. However,
she must face one more test. Without any resources other than herself, she
must make her way along a difficult path to the Cave of Truth - where she
will face "her most dangerous foe." Her 10-year old brother Veni tags
along midway, holding her lightsaber. They run into Willm Lywin, a 600-
year old Duinuogwuin guardian who will take her to the Cave. She makes her
way in alone - and faces her own corpse. And then a Corusca gem that could
finance her family. And then a puzzle room. Getting frustrated, she rages
out at her unseen foe. However, facing her reflection, she realises - her
most dangerous foe is herself. Moreover, with that realisation, she passes
the test and becomes a Jedi.

    And I'm an idiot.

I looked at the Ultimate Timeline and forgot Time Tales.

Many thanks. Any other continunity connections from this story? Characters, locations, etc. referenced/appearing elsewhere I should know about?

I'm pretty sure there's a reference in the story to it taking place during the Sith War.

Note, also, this is a flashback story. The "framing story" is set 6 months ABY.

Fantastic, thanks for the info. Who is doing the flashing-back in the framing story?
