Full Series The Music of TCW

The punchy action track from the zero-g fight in Cargo of Doom. It was reused numerous times throughout the series, but it wasn't selected for the 1-6 soundtrack. Real shame...

 

That release is incredibly disappointing, covering 6 seasons of music with just 28 tracks, many of which had already been made available or were cut-down. This is far from the only cue that should have been on there but with such a limited release it was inevitable that the majority of cues that should be available would not be included.

Not my video or edit but here's that cue, taken from the Clone Wars Adventures game. (It's available in much higher quality in the other games, so I will make an edit of it myself eventually)

Does anyone know the name of the track after Maul beheads Pre Vizsla?

Interesting.

I like most of Kiner's themes surrounding Maul. Here, Samuel Kim melded two different pieces of music together.

 

Additionally, parts of the Vizsla/Maul duel cue are reused from the duel between the brothers and Obi-Wan and Ventress in Revenge, though it's not a one-to-one copy. I suspect some re-editing or merging with other library tracks is the case.

 

Seeing as those are scored by Matthew St. Laurent; "Unlikely Allies" & "Two Against Two", it could just be Matthew simply using one of those as a base for "Maul Challenges Visla". Or it could just be as you suggest simply a reuse/tracked edit of those (and maybe even some other) previous cues by Matthew St. Laurent.

This was tracked into the Tales of the Jedi episode Practice Makes Perfect and surprising was included on the soundtrack release, as part of the track Training Pays Off!

Just discovered a new track: Clone Wars (Action) from Nightsisters. I've updated the spreadsheet to include this.

I think this is "Fierce Battle Part 2" by Takeshi Furukawa but without a full cue list for this episode I unfortunately cannot be certain.

 

So I have started rewatching TCW and man even early on sometimes the music could be fantastic. It did improve. Like I think there is way better music in the bad batch than early TCW. I have probably listened to the bad batch soundtrack for a collective 30 hours.

It’s still a shame they have never released all of TCW’s music. I would buy the **** out of it

The melodic part that comes in about half way through. *chiefs kiss* it’s just amazing. Definitely helped get the first episode a 10/10

That's a great piece of music. I remembered it elevating that scene so it's cool that people here directly referenced it.

 

So many cool pieces in TCW that have never officially been released which is a shame

Very cool to get so much clean action music, I thought the chances of more from Season 7 were highly minimal at this point.

The links in your spreadsheet still appear to default to the main action/adventure page rather than the individual tracks however.

 

With the way ReelCrafter is linking the actual mp3s wouldn't work as it only loads a temporary link each time playing the file, so there's really no point.
