I quit after the 3rd bullet and dismissed it as phony so I didn’t even make it to the more silly satire.

Wow way to go Vox, make the spoilers go even wider if they’re true. I’d be losing my mind if I was still a spoiler-phobe, I don’t know how people are going to survive this next week.
ALSO WAY TO GIVE CREDIT TO JASON WARD WHEN IT WAS JEDI PAXIS WHO LEAKED DEM SPOILERZ

Yeah, plus the Morraband is in the Clone Wars, complete with ancient Sith spirits.

But, for whatever reason (maybe God complex) the Sequel Trilogy writers wanted their own Jedi and Sith homeworlds.

Or they were abandoned in the old republic era due to the rule of two or something making the UR unstable I.E how Zakkul was in Legends

can we all pause and give andy serkis some credit, he killed it as snoke, and him doing that line in this trailer sounds like a more evil version of freddy kruger

I suppose it can be assumed this is meant to predate Moraband, Bane, and the Rule of Two. Going back to the very very beginning.

I'm not really sure what your point is (honestly)? I don't think it's 'god complex' or anything.

Because you didn’t trace my messages back to see what the conversation was and responded out of context. Partially my fault for editing out the photos for brevity.

The original poster was asking if the Sith left Morraband for Exegol/Exogul/whatever. I was saying that Morraband doesn’t matter in these movies because they’re going to put all of the “Sith Stuff” on Exegol for the sake of keeping the story concise. Morraband exists in the continuity (because of the Clone Wars) but it doesn’t matter and isn’t something JJ and Terio even want to think about when making this movie.

The “God Complex” comment is me basically saying that they’re writing this from the perspective of “We’re the writers. We don’t want to use Korraband. We want to make our own Sith homeworld because we want to control the story without any constraints, lore be damned.” And I think I’m right that they think that way.

EDIT: And I’m not even saying JJ is wrong for thinking that, becasue he’s JJ Abrams. Why should he watch Clone Wars and play KOTOR just to understand the details of what planet Darth Sidious is hiding out on? He has his own story to worry about. It’d be nice if he cared and conformed his story to that, but I don’t blame him for not caring and making the world conform to his story.

If this dark side being can talk/influence Kylo Ren, it may be able to do that anybody, or at least anybody feeling the tug of the dark side.

Ridley and Maryann Brandon years ago really pushed back against the novelization idea, but perhaps those in charge have changed their minds again or they really didn't know: https://boards.theforce.net/posts/55864714/

Great. When Palpatine dies for real this time, all the robot humans in the FO will stand down. Like in TFA when the control ship was blown up by Anakin.

Even on The Clone Wars Morraband is an abandoned husk of a world. The Jedi know it's location too. Those weren't Sith Spirits Yoda encountered but illusions. Darth Bane seemed to be there to scare off visitors. Sifo-Dyas was counjured by Count Dooku and Darth Sidous. Yoda himself had an out of body experience while there.

It seems this place in The Rise of Skywalker is much more powerful with the Force. It's possible the Force Nexus located at Morraband dissipated over time adn that world lost it's special Force Power.

But it also appears this place in the trialer is somewhere special. Much more like Mortis or the Force Well Spring Yoda visited.

What if the channel only opens up if you're feeling the tug or fall to the dark side and not before?

cause Jakku's Darkside force Nexus probably shielded her from it . though there is that voice in her head in TFA novelization

    So. much. novel. reference....................

I even read that one and I can't remember it. It plays zero role in my interpretation of the films.
