Go for it! But at least confirm your intention here or I'll judge tonight to keep things moving.

    I'll just add this:

Can Han Solo do that? No, he can't. Han Solo is definitely a good combatant, don't get me wrong. But he's not Crosshair-good.

    Alrighty then...

    Wang vs. JKF

Guri over Echo/Fives-- I can't properly voice my disappointment at the prospect of getting references to last Muggle's and/or a verbal fodeuss arg, and instead getting...a Comic Vine link. That's a Palps-level bait-and-switch. But Guri is this good to me.

    Vua via forfeit
    Hunter via forfeit
    Jango via forfeit

    Jordan1 vs. ChatRXS

    Valance via forfeit
    Mezhan via forfeit

Gideon over Thrawn (prepped)-- Definitely a situation where Thrawn is so crafty and with time to assemble resources & plan can really bridge massive combat gaps-- I visualize especially him sitting casually with a ysalamir over his shoulder as Joruus attacks. But I'd need another visualization painted here to make that decision. And the specific prep rules do hurt him a bit in that he can't boobytrap the location. That means there's a bigger window for a guy like Gideon-- who Jordan was astutue to point out already knows Thrawn-- to get the jump before any kind of strategy gets rolling too fast. Which is say maybe Thrawn is best as a trump in most situations?

Aphra (prepped) over Fennec-- What a stylistic matchup. On one side, it's a more traditional fighter in Fennec. Great hand-to-hand, elite marksmanship. Mulan with a sniper. On the other, Aphra is resourceful and cunning (@CunningStunt) as hell. She's maybe not Thrawn-level, but she's absolutely more of a combatant-- I think she has shown some solid speed and an ability to be a crack shot. Without the prep it's not enough to down a force like Fennec-- and let me be clear that I don't think that arg was in vein for future matchups Jordan-- but I'm going with Aphra's range of tech options over Shand's range with a blaster. Particularly when I think back to how Fennec got captured by Mando...he used the flash charges to knock out her helmet's targeting to set it all in motion. Aphra is gonna be WAY more capable of tactics like that.

    Throwing it to 3.

    Alpha vs. sey

    Cantankerous Smell via forfeit

Nen Yim (prepped) over Poe (prepped)-- The prep really helps Poe size up what he's dealing with, the problem is that Nen Yim has the same prep time to shape things that aren't even in there yet (or, if we're not saying she can create Monster Porgs, at least things that are more esoteric/are in quantities he may not expect. Blorash jelly & a bunch of thud bugs are no joke)

Rex (prepped) over Bolpuhr-- Blowout. Great arg, sey. Alpha if there's a chance to drop Bolpuhr and pick up another piece in Free Agency, I'd highly consider.

Crosshair (prepped) over Han-- And that's why you argue, @Alpha-Red ! Killer scene to reference. Now maybe without the prep Han's ingenuity (and Solo luck) carries him here, but it's just so much more advantageous for someone like Crosshair to know his weaknesses and lay out a plan. Unfortunately for Han trying to dodge bouncing sniperfire, he's not necessarily superhuman athletically unless you count his trigger finger-- he's a bit of a Greg Maddux, relying on precision (and sneakily consistent crafty defense) over overpowering anyone. And Crosshair not only can match up well there, he gets deflector shields in his Katarn-class armor to survive Han Shooting First. Inty, have at it.

    SithO vs. Slayer

Shimrra over Bo-Katan/Cassus-- I really enjoy Bo-Katan's character, but Cassus really is just a warm body here. Shim cruises.

Beviin over Paz (prepped)-- What an interesting fight between 2 different canoned Mandalorians. And both blue to boot! This was super close, but an arg is always gonna go a long way when the margins are thin. And in this case it was solid to mention that Paz isn't exactly lighting the world on fire on the Thrawn/Aphra/etc. pole of the prep spectrum. He's a bit of a brute, and unfortunately for him Beviin can match strength with crushgaunts and knows his way around a vibroblade up close. Given his experience in hand-to-hand against an elite Skywalker (vs. Paz losing in the Darksaber duel to Mando), it would really need to be that Gatling gun that fells him. That's too narrow a path to victory, so the arg overcomes the prep.

Mando over HK-47-- This is how you do it right here. I love HK-47, but three key things stand out that got mentioned in the arg:

    1) HK does suffer from the KotOR downside of not knowing quite exactly what his role in certain battles were canonically (though we can at least see what he's capable of over and over) + the fact that he almost always is in a party with some other legends.

    2) Mando fought the HK-87's! Now of COURSE they crude facsimiles of HK-47 in both combat and personality-- I can hear his derision about this comparison in my head-- but they do provide Din a baseline with what to expect without prep. The flip side is that HK has a very differently defined view of what a Mandalorian is, and while I don't think he's ever in the business of underestimating anyone, it's just a fact that he'll likely be less overall prepared.

    3) The Grogu-in-Peril Effect. Clock it.

Consider this a protest vote for ECHO/FIVES

Make mine Aphra for pretty much the reasons Ken laid out. The path to victory for Aphra are pretty much what has been laid out by Mando, and Aphra is not only prepped, but the right kind of smart to follow the blueprint.

Also, make mine Crosshair. He's an unbelievably good prep both in terms of being able to get a strategy but also get the equipment he needs to execute the strategy. If Han can make this a longer fight, invoke his luck, and withstand whatever CH has planned for him early, it starts to tilt into his favor. But, I'm not sure I see Han making it that long of a fight. Crosshair doesn't miss; that's kind of his thing. And it wouldn't take much to get the *right* opening. "Hey, Scruffy Looking Nerf Herder" "Who's scruffy look-" *headshot*. Just a bad match-up for Han IMO, and a great argument/clip from Alpha.

    Arg away.

On one hand sey has some bonkers cohesion & leadership. On the other I'm not sure who even in tandem w/ someone else is preventing Grievous from going Piggy saBinring HAM for Alpha.

Jar Jar sneezes. This causes the bell tower of Ferrix City to collapse and fall down onto the opposing team. Team Weesa wins.

Did it? I don't see any counterarguments. Last I checked they're still buried under rubble.

As the other team climbs out from the rubble, Team Weesa picks them off one by one with stun bolts and borash jelly. Shada specifically brought along a Jawa ion blaster just to deal with Chopper.
