I'll throw an argument up for Tor Vizsla vs. Wedge Antilles (Prepped)

I love Wedge Antilles as a character -- I even have a painting of him made by my aunt displayed on my bookshelf. That said, Wedge is a far better pilot than combatant -- and a far better team leader as well. That serves him well if this were a team battle, but in a 1-vs-1 matchup he just doesn't have enough feats. I don't remember any time in which he faced a named opponent in non-starfighter combat and he doesn't have experience blowing through armies that could replace it. On the other hand, Tor fought and beat Jango Fett twice, who is a first-round pick this draft. The prep for Wedge does close the gap a bit, but it's nowhere near enough for Wedge to get anything close to a majority. Tor wins this 9/10.

I don’t see how Hondo lasts over a minute against Beilert, unless he’s running. Hondo is crafty and can talk his away out of anything, but the problem is Beilert talks more with his fists… This dude is a cross between the Terminator and Iron Man. One of the galaxy’s physically strongest and most powerful people there is. His accolades stack up well beyond the pirate’s.
Boba Fett, Bossk, Durge, Vader, 4-LOM, Zuckuss, Dengar, are just some of the opponents he’s fought and actually damaged or beaten. As far as Hondo’s concerned, I’ve only see him duel Anakin for a little while? Impressive but it doesn’t exactly help here because he’s gonna be in a fist fight and blaster fight.
The location doesn’t exactly give Hondo much room to run and hide either. The village is quite tight and enclosed being built in the trees.

I think Krrsantan vs. Rayvis would’ve been the one to argue for. A Wookiee vs. a Gen’Dai. Two physical powerhouses armed to the teeth with weapons and explosives. The village would not be standing after this one.

I'd love an arg on that, I got through the Rayvis parts in Jedi: Survivor for this!

Well and also b/c that game is awesome.

Yeah I'll probably fire up judgments during a CFB game tonight unless there are any objections

    Regarding Rayvis vs. Krrsantan.
Krrsantan is without a doubt the strongest and most vicious Wookiee there’s ever been.
And Gen’Dai are arguably the strongest and most durable species there’s ever been. You can count the number of known Gen’Dai on one hand, yet they are very feared.

I can now drop spoilers since Ken is up to date, yay! Rayvis was defeated by Dagan Gera and Cal Kestis, two very skilled and powerful Jedi. They have abilities rarely seen by other Force users. The third time Rayvis was defeated, it took a group of Jedi Masters to capture him. Not just one or two, a whole group. That’s nuts considering Rayvis wasn’t Force sensitive or anything.
Krrsantan put up a really impressive fight against Tatooine-era Kenobi, but couldn’t pull off the win.

Durability wise, Rayvis can tank blaster shots, explosions and lightsaber hits are barely even flinch. Krrsantan, while strong and durable can indeed take hits from a blaster as seen in TBOBF, but he did have to get helped out of the fight before getting injured any more. I do think a Gen’Dai is slightly out of his league here.

Unprepared, this is what each of them bring to the fight:
Rayvis - A set of durable armour with back mounted missile launchers. A large mace with the option to be extended and swung around. A large repeating blaster.
Krrsantan - Bowcaster, electrified brass knuckles, probably some detonators.
The special gear he brought to fight Kenobi like the railgun and net was sadly with prep.
So in this particular fight I do definitely think the Wookiee is outgunned.

Rayvis has enough fire power to destroy the very village they are standing on up in the trees. Would Rayvis survive the fall down below? Going by previous Gen’Dai feats, definitely. Would Krrsantan? Maybe, but he certainly wouldn’t be getting up any time soon.
Is Rayvis crazy enough to destroy the village? Of course!

I'll throw up a quick, half-assed argument for Din Djarin vs. Cassian Andor while I wait for judgments

Din has familiarity with Navarro while Cassian does not. Din has fought top-tier combatants in Gideon/Ahsoka while Cassian has not fought anyone impressive. Din has Mandalorian armor on to protect him while Cassian has no protective armor. Din carries multiple blasters and a beskar spear along with other Mandalorian gear while Cassian only carries a blaster. Din has advantages over Cassian in top-tier feats, knowledge of location, and gear. Therefore, Din wins.

With only one argument made, I'll go with Beilert Valance over Hondo. Despite the argument, I'm sticking with Krrstantan. Jordan, you just did too good of a job arguing him up last time!

    BT-1 vs. Fives
    IG-88 vs. Wrecker
Mezhan Kwaad (Prepared) vs. Alpha-17 (Prepared)
    Tsavong Lah vs. Jango Fett

Just going with gut feel on those in the absence of arguments.

Crosshair (prepared) vs. Paz Viszla (Prepared)
    Nen Yim vs. Bo-Katan Kryze
    IG-11 vs HK-47
    Shdao Shai vs. Cassus Fett

I'm big on Crosshair with Prep. He might get a little too cute and that would be what trips him up, but I'd need an argument to make me go that path.

I'll take Wedge over Tor. Wedge is helped by the amalgamation of old and nu canon. There's an entire book (Aftermath, I think, is what it was called. I don't know. It was pretty much garbage that I have no desire to go back and read again, but Wedge was impressive in it) that has Wedge out of a cockpit in Nu Canon showing off his resourcefulness and ability to win and survive. He's become much more than just a top-five pilot.

Din Djarin absolutely murders Cassian. Maybe if Cassian was trumped with the emo bot and his mom it would be competitive.

I almost never do this b/c I enjoy giving matches their due but I'll agree except for...

IG-11 over HK-47-- This is hilarious b/c I just compared them earlier this draft, and I know HK is the OG, but they really upped the game with IG-11's feats. I wouldn't put money against HK in this fight, and I do think he's more mobile which is an edge, but I gotta go with that demonstrable marksmanship.

And Tor over Wedge, b/c this isn't a commando mission it's one-on-one combat and Tor has legit feats against a talent like Jango Fett. Wedge is smart enough not to die immediately, I just don't think he would hold up long in many scenarios against the likes of Tor in Mando armor. Agreed hard with Inty though that Wendig's writing is trash, it's when I really gave up on DisnEU novels (Dark Disciple was a great story to me, but I literally took Aftermath back to Barnes & Noble I didn't even want it on my shelf).

I didn't hate the Rayvis arg Jordan (although "the third time he was defeated" confused the HELL outta me and I kept expecting him to potentially make a return as I finished the game's main story), but that environment is home turf for the Wookiee and BK is capable of ripping those nerves apart if he gets close.

    @Lady_Belligerent for the tiebreakers

IG-11 - I’ve been back and forth on this one because HK-47 was built by the Dark Lord Darth Revan to hunt Jedi, but I have to stand with IG-11 after seeing him in action in The Mandalorian. He was a relentless assassin.

Wedge, the man is a badass in and out of his pilots seat, and he’s deadly in hand to hand combat. What gives him the edge (in my mind) is his insane resourcefulness. He and Tycho are the Macgyvers of the SW universe.

I don’t really think I need to argue why Jango “kills Jedi with his hands” Fett wins against crosshair but I do have to hand it to crosshair he would put up the best fight against jango for a clone besides CX2 and Alpha 17

especially with beaker basically negating crosshair’s range advantage

    beskar
I gotta go help my dad I’ll argue the rest later
