Whoa! You're right!! I'll have to get this set to have the 41st troopers to go with the Commander Gree I got off of e-bay, since the BARC trooper, though cool looking, is crap as far as articulation goes.

 

Radios are good, but then what happens when the Confederation, which has better tech, jams everything? There, we have the hand signals. You do need a hand free, but I think that the ARCs and RCs can shoot one handed for a second or two.

Watch Band of Brothers, they use it quite a bit.

Stealthclones, ummmttt, they look like they might be the functional ancestors of the Blackhole Troopers.

Naturally, the ARC troopers must use MSN.

 

Yeah, that is a good posibility. However, if i see another new colne commando like trooper i am gonna kill all the clones and scream!

 

Maybe it is an ego thing. All these clones are basically forms of Jango. So what do you expect would happen if someone who is identical to another tells him "I'm assigned to the 41st Elite Corps." That second guy isn't going to be happy. He'll probably make something up so he doesn't seem like such a loser for being a plain ground pounder. "Well, guess what trooper 1. I'm part of the Utapau Shadow Troopers!" And then all he has to do is paint his armor, and people will believee him, since armor kit and color is a major way to tell clones apart. There really isn't 50 kinds of clone troopers, just 4-5 and clones claiming they are 45 other types.

 

Where exactly do these guys fit in continuity?

They actually did - I've heard Scorch proclaim his "1337 h4xx0r sk1llz" before. It's one of his sayings when you dispatch him to hack into a console.

I agree, toys should be part of continuity. Sure, some stuff like Burger King "prizes" shouldn't, or super-deformed versions of characters, etc. And using stupid examples of "Jar-Jar's Coloring Book" is just a smokescreen---many Star Wars toys are well designed and work in continuity.

For example, the shield carried by Vader and a clone in the Force Battlers line would work as a cortosis shield used during the Purge. Chewbacca's ornithopter backpack could be related to the Berserker Jetpacks in Galactic Battlegrounds. Clone repaints are... clone repaints. Etc. Etc. Etc.

And the Cruisemissile Trooper is just one of the coolest vehicles I've ever seen.

 

You have no idea. I started writing a fan fic, and accidentially posted only the title while I was editing it by actually typing it, some di'kut, posted a response dissing it.
