The Official Count Dooku/Lord Tyranus Fanclub!!

Hmmm...I would have to say that Mace would win...Opps thats not a very loyal Count Dooku fan statement is it. Why would I say this...Well even the greatest, must fall in order to become even MORE powerful. I'm still a Fan of Dooku, and I am NOT a Mace fan, so much. But like I said in order to rise, one mush fall first.

Hmmm...being a Dooku fan aside, I honestly think Dooku would win ! Dooku has mastered both the light side and the dark side of the force...he is also more experienced than Mace AND has beaten Mace in some EU publications .

Dooku was ALSO supposed to lose the fight with Anakin ! That was a part of Palpatine's plan. Now what Dooku did not expect was the severing of his hands AND the unjust decapitating of his head x.x! D'oh!

 

Cmdr_Gabe_E: surely Mace would be stronger...I know not of the EU that you speak off. But mayhaps we could look at it from the outside views:-
Mace has appeared in many a great film.
As has Our favored Lord, Count Dooku...So ( heheheheh ) who can create the magic faster? Shaft or Sauruman? bear in mind that Shaft and Dooku (Samuel Jackson & Christopher Lee) are very accomplished actors, and of course one has been around for the signs of the Hammer horror, but come on...You really think that Samuels speech about divine intervention did'nt have apart to play in our Lord Dooku's participation of the E3? or any of the episodes what so ever???
I'm still a loyal Count Dooku Fan but now is the time to make it..."Why do I like Count Dooku" All those that agree say..."Hail Lord Dooku"

 

I also have to go with Dooku on the Mace-Dooku duel. Dooku cleaned the mat with Obi-Wan both times he fought him, and he even held his own with Yoda in their duel in AOTC, even if he did have to put Obi-Wan and Anakin in danger to get out of the fight or eventually lose. Plus, he had a style made for dueling. So I think it would be a good fight, but I see Dooku pulling out the victory.

Can I join the Dooku fan club? I really think that Dooku is neat. I like his lightsaber.

Could anyone explain the Lost 20 to me. I know that they are 20 Jedi that left the Order. Who where they?

Cmdr_Gabe_E, I'm not sure if Walken made instructions for that, I think he makes them for the non-SW stuff he builds. But you're set anyway, you've got the full costume.

It's just that never in any EU was Dooku portrayed as a speciecist...

and by speciecist, i mean that Dooku wants the galaxy to be ruled by humans and humans alone...

imho, he should not have been portrayed as such in the novel. because in his jedi days, he never showed any signs of having that belief...

When I heard about that, I was kinda turned off, because there was absolutely no indication of that in AotC or RotS. That's one of the problems with giving other writers creative liberties. I just consider the movies canon, so Dooku's just an equal opportunity dictator-hopeful in my book. :p

Yes! I can feel your pain, BaronFel ! I actually noticed "that" happening to some EUs too! They take a character, and add bit and pieces of info to that character's history or background and it kinda messes up the character x.x! btw, i consider the movies canon too ! though the novel was a nice read, it's still not *the* movie ! that "racist" dooku was really uncalled for!!!

It should be embraced that in all his various asspects he is many things and being unwilling to even consider these facts seems alittle....One sided.
