I think the only way that would work is if we either got a Crimson Dawn show, which would pull too much focus from Maul or if we get a prequel series with Sidious training Maul.

 

crimson Dawn series with cameos from Maul. or an animated show before Solo. I doubt he did mutch before TPM.

 

Well he had to train somehow. I'm sure he did a lot of hunting in far off places as to not draw attention.
