    It's spelled première--not premier. Premier is to be first in rank or to be a prime/chief minister.

    Family Guy is lowbrow and crass, but I have to say that they at least tried to keep out the worst toilet humor from this episode. That's a good thing, as the episode was fairly enjoyable (aside from a few annoying parts).

    My favorite bits:

    I. The Bush/Cheney bumper sticker on the ISD. Not particularly subtle or clever, but still nice to see as well.

    II. The discussion on the Death Star about property values. Seems Imperials are Republicans. :p

    III. Rush Limbaugh on Tatooine radio. Naturally, the Tatooine rednecks would enjoy listening to his nonsense. It especially amused me that a desert world was listening to arguments about warming trends. Good natured of him to participate in a little self-mockery, though.

    IV. Peter humming along to "Imperial Attack"

    V. Red October

    VI. All the little in-jokes about not shooting the pod, or manuevering slightly to the side et cetera.

    And IMO, whatever they did with the animation--whether it was rotoscoping or just particularly precise drawing--I liked it. Being truer to the original is always good.

    Clev2D2 capping a TIE fighter was funny. I also liked the fact he smokes weed. I was disappointed that they didn't QuagP0 more of a sexbot. I had all kinds of fun images of Threepio making passes at Lois.

    I liked the bit where Luke goes, "You don't believe in the Force, do you Han?" and Han goes, "Oh what, judge me for not believing in something you just discovered three hours ago?"

    Or the Cantina where Ponda Baba goes, "I don't like you," and Luke goes, "You don't even know me."

    The STAR WARS/FAMILY GUY episode was amazing fun. Well done. [face_laugh] :cool:

    It would be great to see it in a theater with other STAR WARS fans and other FAMILY GUY fans. The STAR WARS/FAMILY GUY panel at STAR WARS CELEBRATION IV me and my wife attended was a lot of fun and the clips from this episode that was presented during the panel got a lot of great reactions, a lot of laughs. [face_laugh] :cool:
