Seeing AOTC again, I love Kit Fisto...hes pretty awesome and he gets a great amount of screen time. When you see him in action, he is pretty efficient and fast, especially blocking blaster fire.

I know a random post, but just thought I would throw in my 2 c.

I'm gonna be Kit Fisto for Halloween.

 

that would be sweet. is there a kit fisto mask? or would you have to make one yourself?

SW was always good at making characters who appear on-screen for a few moments memorable.

Dear Diary,

Today was a bad day. Not only did the Republic enter into the Clone War with the Separtists but Aayla Secura turned me down for a date again.

I can't decide which thing has me down more.

It seems she's really high on Mace, which I can't understand.

Sure he has a purple lightsaber, and he's second in command next to Yoda, but I have that guy beat on many counts. For one, I have the greatest smile of any Jedi. Two, I have more head-tentacles than you can shake a Jawa at. You would think that I'd be a Twi-Lek babe magnet. Thirdly...ok lets just say I've got him beat on two counts. But those are two BIG counts.

What's even worse is that I heard from Yoda that I might be asssigned with Ki-adi-Mundi to lead a platoon of Clonetroopers into battle. I can't believe I'm gonna be stuck with that big headed loser. I remember when Yoda and I used to play tricks on him, those were the days.

I'd like to see Vader wipe that grin from Kit Fisto's face! I liked his fighting style more than his smiling

 

Kit Fisto was terrible.

 

Only in the Star Wars universe could a character like Kit have his own fan club. Honestly, I wish Jango Fett would have wiped that inane grin off his face with a well-aimed shot to the head.

Naaah, I can't be that mean to a Jedi! But I don't see how he can have his own action figure! Dorme had more screen time than him! Where's her action figure?

 

But Dorme wasn't rushing into a swarm of battle droids while madly waving her lightsaber around like a bantha on crack, was she?

In fact, I've heard that Kit was supposed to be the main character in Episode 2, the one who was supposed to bring balance to the one who will bring balance to the Force. He was supposed to be a big important character, which is why whenever you go into a toy store, you see 4x as many Kits as any other figure. Lucas just decided to cut all his major scenes at the last minute.

These include:
-Kit getting his freak on at the Outlander club with the thong chick.
-Slaughtering the Jawas that told the Tusken Raiders where to find Shmi.
-A free-styling contest with Mace Windu.
-A heart-felt ballad to his dearly departed Yaddle.
-Saving Yoda after Dooku beats him.
-And the climactic scene where it is revealed that Kit was the one who ordered the clone army.
-And perhaps the most unexpected of all.... The part where it is revealed that Anakin wasn't created by midichlorians... Kit is his father!

Little known facts. Hopefully, they'll put all this on the DVD.

Eeek! Hope my last post didn't sound cruel--that wasn't my intention. This thread cracks me up--I love your ideas for Kit's Mentos commercials. Kit Fisto is one cool Jedi.

But, but, but...you got my hopes up for scenes on the DVD! I was all excited, and then you shatered my SW world! However, I am relieved to hear that there won't be another Jawa slaughter. The one in ANH was enough for me!

BTW, Spike--has your brother started talking to you again yet?

 

LOL at Edessa! Yeah we're on speaking terms again, but I'm not allowed to bring up Kit Fisto around my family ever again.
