I'm afraid the NFL is going to see all these crappy prime time games and just outlaw defense even though they've been more incompetent offense than dominant defense.
Every week there's a couple of good game, the main problem actually is NFL/Networks choices for the primetime games. After the amazing playoff game last season it's ridiculous that KC and Buffallo wasn't a primetime game. PS: Denver should fire Hackett and let the DC take over. More than anything else it's just a poor coached game how the pathetic special teams play that set their defeat proved.
my hope is that this means dj moore is inbound. would also be happy with some quality help in the secondary.
Gotta love Kelce. Man is underpaid, doesn't care because he wants to win, and also will restructure to help us get someone else.
I seriously wonder if anyone's done a study on how winning Super Bowl impacts a player's financial future during and after football - you got to figure there's some variable income that goes up whenever you can be introduced as "Super Bowl champion" for the rest of your professional career and then retirement.
@nilzo antonio I think it's been agreed upon that not only every team would play at least one TNF game but also play a minimum amount of SNF and MNF games as well. Buty yeah not having Bills-Chiefs in primetime was a bit ridiculous though Cowboys-Eagles was a good And San Diego would often get invaded by other teams fans including the Packers as my wife went a couple times to see them play there (once when the boys were not quite one so that was a fun long weekend of trying to deal with that) so that isn't unusual but last night was ridiculous. That sounded like a home game for the Broncos who holy heck yeah @christophero30 they are bad especially since they just paid a king's ransom for Russell who just seems like a dude who cannot stay healthy anymore.
As a panthers fan, I want this for DJ. I honestly think he is a number 1 receiver who hasn’t had a QB or offensive line to really show his talents.
Certainly a downgrade from last Monday's game. I was surprised NBC didn't flex the Bills/Chiefs game into their SNF slot, but I guess having an unbeaten team in primetime with a surprisingly decent Dallas team in a rivalry game, NBC probably felt was a better draw, and I heard it was a decent game.
Refresher on the rules as I mistakenly thought they couldn’t use it this early in the season. "Flexible scheduling" will be used in Weeks 11-18. Additionally, in Weeks 5-10, flexible scheduling may be used in no more than two weeks. In Weeks 5-17, the schedule lists the games tentatively set for Sunday Night Footballon NBC.
I thought this happened coincidentally but watching the replay it does look to be intentional. A very intelligent play to set up the end after a long game of terrible football.
No way CBS was letting that Chiefs Bills game get flexed, even if it had been eligible they would have protected that.
According to NFL Network, there will be a 'Black Friday' NFL game after Thanksgiving starting in 2023 on Amazon.
@Juliet316 The NFL must be really happy with how TNF is going on Amazon despite the games being well terrible. Side note the NFL and AppleTV has not formalized the deal yet to be the provider of the Sunday Ticket so it could be in play still therefore I would not be surprised if Amazon made a last-ditch effort to get it.
All Chiefs games have been fine, even our horrible Colts game because hey at least the Colts played well? But yeah other games not involving the Chiefs, Bills, or Eagles are trash. All other teams are trash. Let's just have a three way tournament between these teams to determine a champion.
Figured I'd share some pictures I took at Lambeau Field the other day when I joined my brother at the Jets game there on Sunday. With a few minutes left, we went down to Field level and saw the Packers leaving, along with Sauce Gardner's antics up close. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
Before anybody (vin) can bring up Jim Irsay's comments about Snydum's ownership yesterday; ultimately, I think it's a nothingburger, but I also don't think Irsay would have said anything if there weren't other owners that agreed with him. Just not enough to ultimately remove Snydum from ownership.
