and Sam, that's good news for England. :)

Probably from his fight with Mellberg.
Everyone able to watch matches at work, or are y'all going to have to catch the highlights?

I've taken the days off on England matches. And for the others, I can go to the emergency planning room (I'm a senior planner if a plane crashes, an earthquake strikes, terrorists attack, etc. LOL) where we have a big screen TV. Of course I shall be working in there and not watching the football.

I'm in Gran Canaria for the Sweden and Argentina matches... for the Nigeria match I'm going to the pub for Beckham and Eggs and a pint before I go to work... they've thoughtfully given us til 10am to get in on flexitime for the World Cup.

I'll have to make other arrangements for subsequent matches.

I have one of those LCD Tvs in my office so I'll watch all the games on that, whilst working. Ahem.
We have a big screen TV in the conference room as well, so I suspect that no work will get done by anyone on the Argentina Friday.

    Yay. I'm on.

I heard on the radio that Ladbrokes are giving 5-1 for Heskey to be top goalscorer... are they quite mad?

did anybody watch the footy programme with Paul Whitehouse last night. Italia '90. What a tourny. Easily my favourite. And even though we all know the outcome I couldn't help but feel the highs and lows again. Nessun Dorma, Platt's goal against belgium, linekar's equaliser against the germans, waddle's miss, watching stuart pearce fall to bits...

I really believe we would have won the final in 1990 if we won the shoot out. That's why is was so painful.

    Ljungberg Fit?

Well... not fit. Reckons he'll play through the pain barrier, but I reckon he'll limp off if he starts

What chance the Argies will make a bee-line for his feet as soon as the game kicks-off?

I was thinking that Aaron. All it takes is someone to step on beckhams foot....

Freddie's not gonna have a chance against us. Unless he decides to take on Campbell. cause Sol is she-ite.
