Some questions and speculations about KoTFE (with some heavy spoilers from chapter 1)
About Rishi Maze and the Eternal Throne.

Do we know when was the Rishi Maze formed?

Well, if the empire of Zakuul or even the Rishi Maze, was indeed created by the third (terraforming) star forge, when it could have happened? Before the Great Hyperspace War or maybe after Revan's imprisonment?

It is not hard to explain how Vitiate/Valkorion might have knew about it, since he probed Revan's mind for 300 years. Do you remember what was written in Revan's journal on Nar Shaddaa? Let me remind you:
We should remember, that Revan was able to hide only the secrets of the Foundry from the Emperor. If Revan knew about the third star forge, Vitiate must have obtained such knowledge from him.

Also, "The Eternal Empire commands a fleet that will reshape the galaxy into any image I [Valkorion] choose".

    About Arcann.

Why Valkorion have children (of his blood?)? We know that he had his "Children of the Emperor" but these were just a group of puppets, which were first created around 30 years before the treaty of Coruscant. I wonder if he is TOR version of Flemeth form Dragon Age series? SPOILERS FROM DAO
In the first Dragon Age game, there is an implication, that Flemeth raises her daughters to follow in her footsteps, only to then possess that daughters and discard the old body. I am not even going to discuss what is revealed abot her in Inquisition...

Is this the same way how Valkorion achives his immortality?

    About Valkorion goals.

We know, that supposedly he do not want to consume the galaxy anymore, but what are his true motives now? In the end of chapter 1 Valkorion is "killed" by the player or Arcann (if the player decides to kneel before him). We do not know it yet, but something tells me, that he wanted it to happen, like he wanted one of his sons to kill the other one (BTW I like how he smiles, when Arcann jumps to kill him). I must say, that Vitiate/Valkorion is now WAAYYY more fascinationg, than during the time when the game had launched.

    About Vaylin.

We can read on KotFe page that she "always been held back" and her powers "has been restrained for fear of the chaos and bloodshed". I wonder if Valkorion tried to make from her an ideal Jedi, whereas he wanted to raise Arcann/Thexan as an ideal Sith...

Well, it is only my speculation. However, I am quite certain, that it is indeed a case.

These spoilers from chapter 1 were mostly regarding Valkorion's identity and what transpires during the end of this chapter.

    Also to add:

What Vitiate says during 1-50 storyline pretty implies that he more interested in some "other" galaxy:
"These petty conflicts mean nothing. The concerns of this galaxy are meaningless."
"You discern a fraction of reality. Beyond these stars exist other galaxies, other worlds, other beings."

Also, class stories during Rishi storyline (especially class stories of Inquisitor and Warrior) hint on Zakuul Empire being located in Rishi Maze.

As Inquisitor you encounter mysterious transmitters. These transmitters were receiving signals from Rishi Maze and messages were using words of Sith, Rakata and Gree ( suggesting Sith, Rakata, and Gree ancients) and were an instruction to improve these communication arrays. These arrays increased a lifspan of its user and gave following messages:

"The tessarect is fear", "Redeem or destroy", "Someone must be sacrificed", "Beware his desires".

Well, who was telling us about sacrifices in one particular trailer and is famous for his long lifespan?? Hmmm...

As for Sith Warrior, he/she has a vision where the great darkness is coming from Rishi Maze, he/she also sees dead world and star becoming black and her/him dead on Dromund Kaas.

Zakuul Empire comes from Rishi Maze, under the rule of Vitiate, who according to Meetra Surik is "the darkness", that "will consume all it touches. Stars will burn black, ashes raining on lifeless worlds". During chapter 3 imperial characters can say, that they were trying to save Dromund Kaas and they have lost.

I love your ideas RafSwi7 especially...

...the journal entries left by Revan! That's gold dust if it turns out Vitiate really does have the Triforge at his disposal. The line about how even a mere fragment of the Star Forge could create life makes me want the Eternal Throne to be precisely that: a piece of the Star Forge, that is now sustaining Valkorian's body.

I also like your link to Flemeth.. as there's something nice about the idea Valkorian is body hopping each time, but only after his new vessel is prepared, which has me wanting the Outlander to be Valkorian's desired new host body, and that be the new plan for you he mentioned on Ziost-- but something that wouldn't be revealed until toward the end of the story, like how Xehanort goads Terra into embracing the Darkness, before ultimately possessing his body at the end of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.

Whichever class you play as, how are they going to explain what happened to the other 7 classes' characters when yours became The Outlander?

I honestly do not think, that Vitiate need Rakatan tech to suistain himself since he can just swap bodies. But still... fragment of "the Infinite Army" codex entry:

"With the shipyard’s self-replicating properties, the Selkath theorized implementation of its parts could allow his test subjects to survive the grafting process, and to achieve virtual immortality"

As for Flemeth. Did you played or watched Inquisition storyline? I wonder if Vitiate will have a twist like that.

As for Player connection to the Emperor. According to press release there would be something: "The player will come face-to-face with a new enemy, the Emperor of the Eternal Empire, only to discover that his dark destiny is tied to their own"

If Soa is in fact the same Rakatan who Adas defeated, I feel like his demise was anti-climactic for someone so important to the lore. As being responsible for the birth of half of Sith culture, he should have been Vitiate's right hand.

    Some Q&A from official forum.

Will be able to meet and/or recruit companions that don't belong in our class? (for example, if I play the demo with my agent, will I still see T7?) yes or no will suffice.
    Yes.
What affects the companions effectiveness in battle? Only our level? what about Presence stat? what about affection?
Level and Presence. What Presence does is increase damage, healing output, and total health of your Companions. One added note for the second bullet (I have seen this asked as well) Influence will also add to a Companions combat effectiveness.
Will any and all changes to the companion system also be applied to the 1-60 leveling experience?(multiple roles in combat, or whatever changes you introduce to crafting)
    Yup!
Since some companions are not customizable via armor, I am correct to assume that the customization slot will still be there?
    Yup again.
What will happen to earpieces and Implants on companions? Should I remove them before starting KOTFE?
The plan right now is they will be mailed to you when they come off your Companion in 4.0.
Does the existing character affection we have carry over to KotFE or give a higher starting point of influence if/when we try to get them back?
Yup, the existing affection you have will carry over into Fallen Empire

Now I think maybe Vitiate didn't really achieve physical immortality at all, he was no different than Palpatine in Dark Empire.

Why most of the Imperial characters have British accent?

That's an interesting question for once. The old logic is that the Core gave birth to that accent in the Galactic Empire, but Vitiate's forces are full of Rimkins... Though I suppose humanity was only in the region because of Tapani exiles so perhaps there is your accent origin.

After thinking about it a bit, I think this has really been one of TOR's bigger storytelling problems in general: trying to give appropriately setting-significant backstories to big raid bosses... at the cost of leaving them little room to be relevant to the story as a whole. I suspect it was a big part behind the baffling treatment of Revan in the base game, and the whole deal the thread discussed earlier about the entire Dread Masters conflict taking place offscreen for solo players is a related issue.

The real reason is Bioware being lazy (same with the Moff/Grand Moff and Grand Admiral titles). In-universe, um... the exiled True Sith put on airs to pretend to be more sophisticated than Coruscant while Coruscant itself got more lazy over the centureis? Yeah, I'm reaching.

I've always been kind of disappointed they never did more with Belsavis. Seriously, its a prison-planet full of things the Rakata kept either because they might be useful later (the Esh-Kha) or were too powerful to be killed (Soa, that sun eater thingy that's part of the planetary quest line). It could be a source of endless bosses. The backstory probably wouldn't be much, but still, easy source.

Eternity Vault was fun, with Soa and his Infernal Council. Still not sure about KotFE, but I'm somewhat hoping to run through it again at 65.

Ignoring how reductive this line of conversation is, you've all had since 2011 (and before, really) to deal with it.

It is possible to obsess on things that are easily ignored or tolerated. Yet, I suppose the ability to just let things go would preclude us from being Star Wars fans.
