Yes that's what I was referring to. And you're right, it did make a recovery according to what I just read on Wookieepedia.
Yeah it would have changed but I like to think it turned out more post war Japan than post war eastern Europe.
Replaying through the Jedi Knight story now, on Taris. One of the most peculiar side missions, going to find the chamber of carbonite frozen government officials who have been waiting in stasis for centuries for the Republic to return to Taris. It's odd, we don't get any more details on what happens after we alert the Republic about these people. Wonder what happens when (or if) the Republic unfreezes them. I remember the last time I completed the Jedi Knight story, I played as a really true-to-the-code Jedi. This play through I've been a little more on the aggressive side with my Jedi. Not as attached to the code, but still a lightsider.
Yeah, I guess they leave before the Sith overrun the place? (or maybe they don't) My first Jedi was a bad dude, arrogant and entitled. But then the end of Act 1 happens and he shapes up, then end of Act 2 happens and he has to come back from that. I honestly think the darkest think the JK can do is at the end of Tython. T3.
Been playing my Bounty Hunter lately. For some reason, Balmorra reminds me a lot of Geonosis. I don't really see my character as someone who sympathizes with the Sith Empire, but this planet has me running around doing a lot of operations against resistance forces on Balmorra. I guess for a bounty hunter, a job's a job!
The factories? I like the occupied nature and the battlefield you go through. Yep they hire your gun, all you do is kill people who they tell you to.
I think it's the factories and the towering landscapes and the barren parts of the planet. Also the fact a war is going on there.
The war feels very different from others. This is a siege, trench warfare. It is also neat to see (on the Imp side) how they go about crushing guerrilla forces.
I agree, it's an intriguing war on Balmorra. I just finished the Balmorra part of the Bounty Hunter story, and loved the ending. Did not see the twist coming. After it was all said and done, heading back to my ship with Mako -- and the music from the Anakin-Padme "You're so beautiful" ROTS scene started playing. Great musical touch. I love how this game has it's own original soundtrack, yet also adds in familiar music from the movies at the right times.
How did you handle it? And the main quest? Oh also The Hutts are putting on a charity event https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Fe...rganized by,Sith Empire and Galactic Republic.
I spared the cowardly Lieutenant Major after taking out the target and the other bounty hunter. And yes I've heard tale of that "charity" event. Sounds very promising. As we know, the Hutts care deeply about the galaxy's impoverished. Lol
Did you reveal yourself as a hunter? My most recent one didn't and 'tried' to protect the admiral, then avenged him. You can play mini games of cooking food and serving it. The Hutts care deeply about those with little. They want to serve them, so they repay the Hutts. (it is a very common tactic of organised crime, Al Capone ran a soup kitchen after all).
Yes I believe I did reveal myself as apart of the Great Hunt. And that's interesting, I haven't done anything with the Feast of Prosperity yet. I may check it out.
I have finally arrived on Alderaan with my Bounty Hunter character.. Even amidst a civil war, the planet is still beautiful. Odd working with the Sith Empire on Alderaan, knowing what a Sith-led Galactic Empire will eventually do to the planet someday...
To quote an Alderaanian person "I would rather see Alderaan blown to space dust than ruled by the Empire".
Yes, I actually played that quest a little earlier. Speaking of quotes from SWTOR. Playing on Tatooine (on the Empire side), and doing the Czerka missions, at the end you get a great quote. "This galaxy has a lot of old secrets. Once you start seeing them, they tend to start looking back."-Captain Golah
I thought some of you might enjoy this. If mods feel like this is not the right place to share, I apologize, feel free to remove the post.
