Seriously, I need to see Ardun Kothe in the game again. Hearing him at the end of Shadow of Revan wasn't enough!

I swear I've heard both of their VA's somewhere before... And thank you for confirming my one and only wish for 6.2! Looks like this wait has been worth it!

That's nifty. I'm surprised it's taken ToR so long to implement it, to be honest.

    Ohhh very cool.

I also find it very funny/nice that Valkies VO looks like an accountant, and SWTOR was the start of his voice acting career picking up.

I really like the style similar to Ziost, "Visions in the Dark", "Dream of Empire" and few last chapters of KOTET.

And burning Coruscant is also quite nice. XD

    Some codex entries - spoilers:
    Clan Cadera
Once a prominent faction among the Mandalorians, Clan Cadera has all but faded from recent memory. Most only associate them with their role in the Crusader's schism, which began when Jicoln Cadera spoke out against the Mandalorians' alliance with the Sith Empire.

The clan was nearly decimated after Artus Lok, who soon after became Mandalore the Vindicated, crushed Cadera's rebellion. Those who survived were allowed to return to Mandalorian society, only to be looked upon with suspicion and doubt by many in the other clans.

Only Torian Cadera, Jicoln's son, managed to rise above the scrutiny of his peers by becoming chief of Clan Cadera and a close adviser to Mandalore the Avenger. No other member of Clan Cadera's last remnants has achieved any comparable degree of notoriety. Most are content to keep their heads down and fall in line.

    Servants of the Emperor
After a new regime seized control of the Sith Empire during the war with Zakuul, members of the order known as "The Emperor's Hand" refused to swear fealty to their new leaders.

Before the former emperor fell from power, the "Servants," as members of the Emperor's Hand referred to themselves, served the former emperor directly. Although the former emperor no longer ruled over the Sith, the Servants would not kneel for any other.

The Servants are steadfast in their belief that the former emperor will one day return and reign again in all his past glory. To see this come to pass, they continue to scheme in the shadows, away from the eyes of the Sith Empire, carrying out orders they believe are still being spoken from the former Sith Emperor himself.

    Advanced Deployment Harpoon (ADH)
A hybrid of a ship-to-ship weapon and hostile docking system, the ADH or "Harpoon" is a shielded tether fired into the hull of the targeted ship to prevent maneuvering and escape. Once anchored, the tether acts as an extended docking tube for rapid deployment of troops, hull breach equipment, and heavy ordnance.

A prototype of this technology was used in a number of successful search and rescue operations to extract personnel from compromised vessels. Encouraged by these early results, a number of private military organizations took an interest in exploring the wider combat applications of the ADH system.

    The Fall of the Scions
Following a massacre decreed by Emperor Arcann, persecution ordered by Empress Vaylin, and the rampage of powerful god-like machines, the Scions of Zakuul dwindled beyond their ability to restore their numbers.

The few who remained clung to each other, waiting for the moment their former leader, Heskal, had prophesied--the utter destruction of the Scions of Zakuul. While they waited, they watched and investigated any sign that their former Emperor, Valkorion, was still living.

Their suspicions were confirmed when one of the last remaining Scions had a vision of Valkorion consumed by dark shadows that then spread across the galaxy. The Scions took action, locating the ship that contained the infected Satele Shan and her students and taking the vessel off-course, all while knowing that they might soon meet their demise.

    Bask Sunn
A notorious gambler and thief, Bask Sunn is a lieutenant of considerable skill within the Dar'manda mercenary group. Once a promising Mandalorian, Sunn's greed led to his renouncing their ways to pursue more lucrative projects. His charisma and talent for being on the winning side at any cost soon had him climbing the ranks within the Dar'manda and seeing his personal fortunes rise. Using his association with the legendary Mandalorians as a selling feature, he focused on the recruitment of young mercenary-hopefuls with promises of credits, fame, and glory.

The established leadership of the Dar'manda leave Sunn to manage his own corner of the galaxy as long as he continues to make money and recruit new blood. Sunn gained the notice of Heta Kol, the ruthless rival of the leader of the Mandalorians, and a partnership was arranged despite deep ideological differences.

    Field Marshal Heta Kol
The leader of a group of disenfranchised Mandalorians called the Hidden Chain, Heta Kol rose to power through a combination of political acumen, skill in combat, and an unswerving belief that Mandalorians should use their skills in war to further their own agenda, rather than acting as mercenaries for hire. This belief appealed to many clans that had split away from Mandalore the Avenger. Kol herself took on the title of Field Marshal as a tribute to the Neo-Crusader movement from centuries past.

Kol's current supporters come from the ranks of Clan Varad, the Ash'ad, and through a mutually beneficial arrangement with the ex-Mandalorian mercenaries, the Dar'manda.

"In Shae Vizla, I see only hypocrisy. She has driven out those who oppose her view, yet she has remade the Mandalorians into servants of anyone who pays her enough credits--no matter what they believe. Where is the honor in that?"

    -Field Marshal Heta Kol

    Jekiah Ordo
First gaining recognition during a series of operations on Balmorra, Jekiah Ordo is a career warrior. He fought to re-establish Mandalore the Preserver's legacy, but succeeded only in removing stigma from the Ordo name for himself and his younger siblings, Rass and Layla.

Never one to pursue fame or fortune, Jekiah instead spent his career building an impeccable reputation among Mandalorians as a skilled fighter, courageous leader, and canny strategist. He was noticed by Shae Vizla, leader of the Mandalorians, who asked him to take on greater responsibility as one of her advisers.

    Rass Ordo
Brash and reckless, Rass Ordo is the youngest of a trio of siblings welcomed into the Mandalorian clan Ordo after their parents perished in a raid on their Makeb mining town. The clan soon tempered his restless energy, and he grew into a talented and deadly combatant. Serving alongside his siblings, they became an inseparable team until the death of their sister Layla during an operation on Belsavis.

In the field, Rass acquired a reputation for his courage under fire and unrelenting drive to excel. Though he often chafes against the rigid beliefs of Mandalorian culture, Rass has been a vocal and popular advocate for Mandalorians across the galaxy.

    Tenebrae
Valkorion. Vitiate. The former Emperor of both the Sith Empire and the Eternal Empire has assumed multiple forms over the centuries, but when he was born to a poor farmer's wife and a powerful Sith Lord on the agricultural world of Medriaas, he was "Tenebrae."

Tenebrae's propensity for violence and power was evident from his childhood. When he learned of his true parentage, he murdered his stepfather, tortured his mother, and subjugated the people in his small farming village. By the time he was a teenager, Tenebrae had conquered the entirety of his homeworld after imprisoning his biological father.

After ruling his homeworld for over a century, Tenebrae's desire for immortality only grew. Following the Sith Empire's defeat by the Galactic Republic in the Great Hyperspace War, Tenebrae completed a ritual that wiped out all life on his homeworld, including the thousands of Sith who answered his call for assistance. It was the first vicious step Tenebrae took toward prolonging his life, but it would not be the last...

    Champion's Glory
Mandalorian Clan Varad's heavily-modified warship is optimized for ship-to-ship domination. Whatever kind of vessel it once was, very little of it remains beyond its outer shell. Clan Varad removed any elements of comfort and transformed the vessel into a true instrument of the hunt. The hull is braced to fend off even the strongest attacks, and its weapons are quickly primed and ready to target anyone unfortunate enough to display something that Clan Varad might want.

Armed with the Advanced Deployment Harpoon, the Champion's Glory and those who fly within form a singularly focused raiding party that has yet to be repelled by their quarry.

    Fortune's Folly
Bask Sunn's pleasure barge, a formidable raiding vessel in its own right, makes an ostentatious statement. While the exterior is already magnificent to behold, those lucky enough to reach the upper echelon of service are also treated to extravagant opulence.

The officers' quarters are designed for comfort and as a reminder to the crew that they deserve to enjoy their plunder. But newer members of the crew must put in the effort to prove they are worthy to partake in the enjoyment.

The decadent benefits of raiding for Bask Sunn are an earned reward. Those toiling in the rank and file roles must live in loud, cramped quarters and lead an impoverished existence. Small glimpses into a better life aboard the Fortune's Folly serve as incentive to the lower ranked.

    Seeker's Vigil
This heavily-guarded space-faring vault serves as a monument to what the Ash'ad consider the glories of Mandalorian culture.

Within these fortified walls lay the history of conquest, raiding, victory, loss, and struggle that characterize a true Mandalorian warrior's existence. There are so many tomes in the libraries that the archivists have lost count. Tableaus and frescoes line the hallways, depicting Mandalorian battles whose names may be forgotten, but are still part of their history.

It would take multiple lifetimes to even begin to uncover all of the knowledge hoarded within, and those that call this vessel home will ensure that if the Mandalorian way ever falters, they will be there to teach new generations what it really means to hunt and live the life of a raider.

    The Spirit of Vengeance II
Deriving more than its name from its predecessor, the current Mandalorian flagship--the Spirit of Vengeance II--was designed to closely mirror the former Mandalore's intimidating dreadnought, which was destroyed by Eternal Empire forces during the Zakuulan invasion.

After the war ended, many Mandalorians called upon the new Mandalore, Shae Vizla, to commission a flagship that rivaled the greatness of its predecessor. Vizla initially hesitated at the suggestion to build something so ostentatious, as she preferred more easily maneuverable ships to bulky and cumbersome dreadnoughts.

But, after considerable discussion with her advisers, Vizla saw the benefit of giving her warriors a tangible reminder of their indomitable past.

    Info about new companion/contact:
    Rass Ordo
    The Younger Ordo

Trained as a Mandalorian alongside his older siblings, Rass showed a gift for combat and a friendly manner that made him popular with his fellow warriors. Known for his sense of humor, bravery and fierce loyalty, Rass was marked early as a future leader.

While Rass can be reckless in his pursuit of mission goals, his long list of victories for the Republic, Empire and private interests has solidified his reputation as a dependable soldier capable of keeping galactic politics out of his work and staying focused on the task at hand.

With the loss of his sister, Rass has grown closer to his older brother, Jekiah. They are often seen together between assignments.

Likes: Dry humor, Mandalorian history, courage.
    Dislikes: Cowardice, excuses, cruelty.

It seems that there will be also some 2 new alliance missions (not much info about them at the moment):
    • "Conflicting Priorities" that will involve Zenith, Aygo, Pardax, Hylo and Oggurobb.
    • "Whispers in the Force" which only has Vette at the moment in its directory.

Interesting stuff! I'm seeing something with Skadge too. npc.alliance.camp.skadge.nialka Not sure if it's 6.2 stuff or later content but it's interesting they'll give the most hated comp something.

Though sadly a lot of the cut content from ROTHC(class stories, the cut planets, and etc) were purged. Might be a mistake on their part.

I am really enjoying them filling out the Eternal Empire conquest thereafter, because it was a big thing, and basically a year of everywhere being hit in almost simultaneity it seems. Mandalore's fall getting a lot of detail after the fact is pretty fun.

I guess some of them will have small scenes like Vector had with "The Task at Hand" update.

You mean that old Ziost/Bothawui/Sleheyron/Yavin expansion?

Yep.. This is going to be worth the wait! There is a difference between reading the datamined stuff, and seeing it in game. And hearing Doug Bradley as Vitiate again makes me happy. And I rather like his new outfit.

Purged from where? The game, or Jedipedia/TORCommunity? Because I can still see a lot of the cut dialogue from those quests.

Yes it's still there on the live version and external sites but the current PTS build that went up purged a good chunk of that stuff. Most of the folders are empty now except for the JK it had stuff added to it. It was most likely a mistake on their part.

Also the bit near the end of the last stream has me really curious since Keith teased possible big back end changes such as rendering changes.

No, it was a very brief tease. They were hyping up the big 10 year anniversary and very briefly brought up possible rendering changes. They are touching up vanilla content though but probably nothing extensive such as cutscene remastering or re-playable class stories. For example they are adding quick travel point to Nem'ro's Palace if I'm remembering correctly.

Here's a link to the relevant part teasing the 10 year anniversary. But be warned it ain't much.

No release date yet, but they just brought down the PTS a little while ago, so I would expect to get a release date any day now.
