The Sith made it through, just barely.
The last Boss was his biggest challenge, and that was more the Adds than the boss herself.

Though I did go to the extra effort of making sure he had the highest ranking armor I could possibly obtain in a quick fashion. It wasn't top level, but close enough that I did recognize a noticeable difference in my ability to hold up in each fight.
Now to fix my sentinels armor, and replace what needs to be replaced. Hopefully the next time I try it will go a little better. Less concerned about Gorga, though I'm not sure how that later fights will go.

In 306s I found it very easy but very tedious to get through the mobs.

Spec into aoe reduction and fast interrupts helps.

The fight I really hate is the last on in echoes. Also has anyone figured out a way to to close the gap across to get to the snipers?

Yeah the second mob is the worst.

I found it the easiest as a marauder.
    I don't think you can.

Artstation has lots of new TOR MMO concept art and shematics of ships and other stuff since today, if anybody is interested. Just search star wars there and it pops up among lots of other concept art for TROS, Duel of the Fates, galaxies tcg card sets and else. Treasure trove!

Question to the TOR players: Some long time ago, when TOR wrapped its first storylines and kicked off the next it featured a legacy system where one could make it look as if players new characters are the descendants or kids of their former characters. Whatever happened to that?

I mean with old characters reappearing in recent storylines and all, it gets less and less plausible that so much time passed that they should have aged decades but actually barely aged more than a few years, not enough to allow kids to grow to character ages. Has this feature been removed/ignored or is it still active and how is the exact TOR timeline currently advancing?

It's still there but it's as useless as it ever was. Just one family tree that I haven't even opened in years because there's nothing you can do with it.

The entire TOR storyline if you start playing from the beginning and cover all the expansions released, spans over a total of 7-8 years maybe.

However, I am not sure which characters you are talking about. Satele Shan and other NPCs appear slightly aged in new cinematics compared to how they looked like at launch.

I meant the family tree characters that are supposed to be your kids of your former character you are playing then. They should be 8 year olds but appear adult? As you said, useless feature.

I wonder if/when TOR may do larger timeskips like 10 or more years to allow for new story and characters and use the old as backdrop.

Oh ok. Well, technically you have many customizing options when making a new character that allow you to make them look older or younger, so if you want to do RP in an accurate way, the option is there. I myself, do not care for that.

I hope they continue the saboteur storyline. It's something I've wanted since I finished my first Jedi Knight playthrough.

For the 10th anniversary my only true wish new class stories.

It looks like that will involve he Jedi, per the end of Onslaught. But with saboteur options.

Oh yes same. How did you feel about the Class stuff in Shadow of Revan?

I liked it. Anything that's Class specific and adds replayability is good in my books.

Making certain returning companion alerts class specific was another move in the right direction in my opinion.

I would like the new expansion to have a seperate imperial and republic storyline AND class content, a couple of quests.

They did seperate Imp/Rep stories in Onslaught. An extra quest on a planet isn't too much more I would think.

Ohhh I see some upcoming stuff was datamined.
    • New story mission called Conflicting Priorities. Players will be tasked with handling an arms trade of turbolasers to Corellia. Zenith will be involved in this mission. Empire players(I think?)can manipulate Zenith into attacking the shipment. Republic players will need to ensure the deal happens.
    • Also in this mission players can discuss tasking their force enclave to watch out for any signs of the Emperor or not. Can also discuss current conflict about the Mandalorians.
    • Shae has been busy dealing with the Dar'Manda on Mek-Sha and has wiped half of them out.
    • Jekiah has been filling in for Shae while she's away. Not a comp
    • New mails from Arn, Sana-Rae, and Senya
    • Arn's has two mails and you get one or the other depending on choices taken in Onslaught. He'll either be content/happy and about to complete his padawan training or discontent with Tau's teachings and talks about Ossus and how he can't relate to Tau saying she went too far killing Imps when the Imps were killing farmers. Spicy.
    • Sana's mail will either thank the player for delegating resources to keeping an eye out for any signs of the Emperor or that she respects the decision not too but feels like we should.
    • Senya's is about her guilt over Vaylin's death and how she fears her daughter's spirit won't rest. HMMMMMMM
    • Oh and Satele has a proper portrait for her companions and contacts portrait and no longer cosplays as Sana-Rae.

Also not to get anyone's hopes up but for some reason a big chunk of lines for the scrapped class storylines from the 1st expansion were in this. Not unheard of to be honest since they've added, changed. or deleted them in the past with patches. Just find it odd so much of it was in this will have to check jedipedia/torcommunity's stuff with them to see if anything new was added to go around. PLEASE do not get your hopes up for class content returning. Like I said normally Bioware messes with these files all the time just didn't expect so much of it this time for a seemingly small patch.

If I understand correctly, the reason we haven't gotten more specific class stories in about 6 years (since the Revan expansion, and that one class specific story on Rishi was pretty lame) is because they just don't have the budget to pay all the voice actors for those. It is far easier and more economic for them to progress the way they have been progressing with the story with every expansion, which is either a common story for both factions (Czerka, Oricon, Rishi + Yavin, Ziost, KOTFE, KOTET, Traitor story via the Umbara, Copero and Nathema Flashpoints), or at most two storylines, one for each faction (Makeb, Ossus, Onderon + Mek-Sha).

I have given up on SWTOR being what it was at launch or even up until the Revan expansion since years ago and have been playing for the past 4 years solely because of group content and the fact that I have friends in my guild so we still raid together. Even that has been disappointing though. After December 2014 the game is sadly a much smaller game than it was, and hasn't been supported at all.

The most challenging (and interesting) content of the game, aka operations, is the following:

    1. Eternity Vault (2011)
    2. Karagga's Palace (2012)
    3. Explosive Conflict (2012)
    4. Terror From Beyond (2013)
    5. Scum and Villainy (2013)
    6. Dread Fortress (2013)
    7. Dread Palace (2013)
    8. The Ravagers (2014)
    9. Temple Of Sacrifice (2014)
    10. Valley Of The Machine Gods (2017-2018)
    11. Nature Of Progress (2019)
We had gotten 9 operations within the first 3 years of the game (December 2011 - December 2014) and since then (6 years) we have gotten only 2 more...

You're missing Dread Fortress and Dread Palace but the timeline is correct. That all said, most of the people I raid with have played 2-3 years, not 8 like me so the content is a little more fresh for them.

Oh wow, what a brain fart I had. And I have run those 2 probably more than all the others.
I edited my post above for consistency.
Yeah, that's true for people who are starting the game now, but it's kinda disappointing how little content we have gotten in the last 5-6 years, both in group content and otherwise.

This isn't the first time that the dialogue from those scrapped class stories have popped up in the files. While I would love to actually be able to experience them, I don't know when you can say they happened in the timeline. I guess, there is that gap of time between the end of the base game and RotHC, or RotHC to Shadow of Revan, but like you said, I don't think it's going to happen. Also, I don't think they ever actually recorded dialogue for those quests, just the stuff we got in the Expansion (Makeb, Seeker Droid and Shroud Questlines, ect)...

    As for the rest...
Sounds like this Alert is going to be a bit more interesting than Zenith's original Alert from KotFE. (For those that don't know, Zenith was supposed to be the original contact on Nar Shaddaa during the Star Fortress Questline, and BioWare had the quest all but finished, the quest is in the game files, same with the dialogue, and the placeable items (which you can still find on NS), Troy Baker even recorded all the dialogue for the quest, and it is in the game files (At least it was as of 5.9, which is when I last saw a complete dialogue rip), and they even gave Zenith a new outfit, which you can see if you preview one of his companion customizations.

Now, if they can just bring back Zash for those players who sided with her over Khem in Khem's personal story, and give us Tanno Vik fans (Who didn't kill him) something, be it a farewell letter, or even have him join up would be great. I actually wonder if there isn't something in the works with Zash already, there is a quest in the files called "Whispers in the Force", which only has Vette as an NPC at the moment. Now, it could be a Warrior specific quest, like the Trooper and Agent quests in The Task at Hand, but that quest name, plus Vette, who has experience with sith tombs, well... It sounds like a Zash quest to me.

Why do I get the feeling that Huttbreaker won't be happy with Shae, or the player, wiping out the Dar'Manda. And I wonder how we'll react if we sided with Indigo in Onslaught.

Good to see Arn and Tau working well together (If you encouraged it). Looks like 6.2.1 will be fun.

Never lose hope. He is alive and out there in ALL his endings. So he can return. Maybe he is secretly running them Empire? It does seem to believe in some of his ideas.

I like that idea, maybe he was the real mastermind that enslaved Malgus, and is behind both Acina and Vowrawn as a Shadow Empeor, that way when he resurfaces the writers of the game don't have to complicate their lives anymore with having two versions of the story: one for Acina alive and another for her dying on Iokath, they can just make Jadus the Emperor after disposing of his pawn.

Some people may say that Jadus wouldn't work with other classes than the Agent, but if they did the same with Vitiate, i bet they can make this work for all 8 classes, while the Agent is the one with the closest connection to him (especially if they became the Hand of Jadus in the original story).

Yes I like Shadow Emperor Jadus. I think he will keep in the shadows since he prefers to work behind the scenes, and the figure heads do their jobs well in inspiring the Empire.
