So can the SI kill up to three, in-theory?

No only 2. The one they can kill and then either the loyalist (mek-shar) or the saboteur (Onderon).

Everyone else can only kill 1.

    As far as I understand.

    That follows.

I saw a video where both Vowrawn and Shaar die on Mek-Sha, but that is when Acina is Empress so Shaar isn't a Dark Lord.

You can let Malgus kill Savik on Onderon as a Saboteur, let Lana kill Shaar as a Saboteur (and also as a Loyalist if certain dialogue options are taken I believe, same goes for Vowrawn if Acina is still in charge.) And then an Inquisitor can also kill off Anathel if a certain dialogue option was taken.

So we can kill three. Nifty.

I note that their habit is to phase out characters with optional deaths (where possible), so I doubt we'll see much more of Savik, Shaar/Vowrawn or Anathel generally. Even Jace Malcolm has vanished, which leads me to consider that Acina will end up the 'canon' survivor of Iokath as they haven't wrote her out.

They'll likely keep Acina around for a bit longer because she could still be Empress, where as Jace Malcom doesn't have quite that same power level. He's mentioned every so often if still alive - but I doubt they'll make Acina being alive 'canon' as such just because she can still die. She just happens to get more screen time if alive compared to Malcom because of her position of power.

I just reread the Jedi Council scene in Fatal Alliance and Oric Traless is actually said to be a recent addition to the Council, which kinda throws my original list off track. I suppose this can be resolved by putting him after Oteg while Gnost-Dural is the sixth survivor, since I don't think there's any exact date on when Gnost-Dural joined the Council; he could've joined shortly before the Treaty of Coruscant rather than after.

As for Darth Howl, I suppose you could fit him in as Darth Aruk's predecessor, since we know very little about Aruk (and the Sith seem to go through council members a lot quicker than Jedi, given their nature). I also like to think Darth Sajar represented the Sphere of Sith Philosophy during the Great War since it's said that he and Tol Braga had a very long duel that involved an equally long discussion of ideals and philosophies.

    I like that idea, indeed.

I am overdue a reread of Fatal Alliance, and Deceived, for that matter.

The seven surviving Dark Lords from the Galactic War is a big enough headache, to be honest, but I was happy with Marr, Vowrawn, Mortis, Rictus, Decimus, Mekhis, Vengean.

    EDIT:

Well colour me surprised; the Encyclopaedia (which I hate not read for years), confirms that Jadus took his Council seat before the First Galactic War.

Bye bye Rictus, who I couldn’t see in my notes why I made him a Dark Lord at the end of the First Galactic War. Apart from him being old... whoops.

I know Darth Ekkage and Darth Sajar had seats during the First Galactic War, but no idea as to the other three Dark Lords killed during the Great War.

So during the Cold War, Mekhis is killed and replaced by Hadra... Howl takes a seat and loses it... Aruk, Rictus, Acheron, Arctis and Ravage take the other spare seats.

    Dantooine Enclave Restoration
"Location: Archaeological site 75-D, Abandoned Jedi Enclave on Dantooine

Purpose: Determine the usefulness of location for future Czerka Corporation endeavors

Notes: We were attacked almost immediately upon entering the ruins. The security team--must remember to thank Keldran for recommending them--made short work of the awful beasts, but the sheer ferocity of the creatures hindered my ability to conduct a fully comprehensive study.

Even from a cursory glance, however, it's clear that past restoration attempts have fundamentally altered the site's structure. Perhaps those who attempted to rebuild abandoned their efforts because they did not expect the sheer amount of work required to fully repair the damage... I cannot say for certain.

The lower levels are a lost cause altogether. It seems that we are not the first to send exploratory teams to investigate these ruins, and there is unmistakable evidence that subterranean seismic activity and unchecked scavenging have left the ruins in a state that would make complete restoration impossible.

Conclusion: No benefit--either monetary or martial--would be gained from occupying or restoring archaeological site 75-D at this time."

--From the field journal of Kaya Natari, Czerka Corporation researcher

    Insecticulture
Insecticulture is the genetic alteration of the color, size, and stamina of insects. This discovery ended the Hive War by allowing Kubaz clans to color-code their insect supply according to ownership, while also creating more sustainable and thriving specimens for all Kubaz hives.

The development of Insecticulture was vital to the survival of the Kubaz species, as it allowed them to restore lost numbers and regrow their population.

    Invasive Species on Dantooine
"Damn it, Krupo! I told you how precious my babies are to me, and you go and crash the ship with them in it! Jayse says I should be glad that everyone made it out alive, but if you don't round up my dumplings, you're gonna wish you never escaped that burning wreck!

Here's the list of who's missing--don't even think about showing your face in my presence unless you've got every last one of them with you. This miserable little grass ball is no place for my lovelies, they're probably terrified out there, all alone, without their papa... so you better hurry up and find them if you want to keep your head, you pathetic son of a murglak!

    -Rox, Yug, and Wa-Vendeg (skar-kla, I hand-raised them myself!)
-Flappy and Fuzzy (my award-winning xuvva)
-Spike and Ol' Cronchy (my beloved zeldrates)

They're all worth more than your craven hide, so you miss even ONE, consider yourself an enemy of the Nova Blades!"
--From a message from Yarvok, leader of the Nova Blades, to a beast wrangler

    Malgus Untethered
After the battle of the Meridian Complex shipyard, the disappearance of Darth Malgus caused worry and confusion for both the Republic and the Sith Empire. Without any evidence as to what Malgus was doing, many on both sides braced themselves for the worst. It came as quite a shock for all when Darth Malgus resurfaced on the quiet pastoral world of Dantooine.

But beneath Dantooine's peaceful surface, many dark legends have originated from the ruins of a former Jedi Enclave. Tales of the psychological manipulation that took place there are uncommon knowledge for most of the galaxy--but a Dark Lord of the Sith, who possesses a vast knowledge of ways to apply the Force, would undoubtedly find many useful tools among the enclave ruins.

Whatever Malgus discovered in the depths of the Dantooine enclave, it's clear that he is no longer beholden to the whims of his Imperial masters. Without a leash to restrain him, Malgus's plans are even more of a mystery. Whether he's using his newfound independence to continue to pursue the objectives of the Empire--or to serve his own purpose--remains to be seen.

    Scavengers on Dantooine
After the destruction of the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine--and the subsequent Sith occupation--the locals were relieved to see the Jedi abandon the site. The citizens of Dantooine believed that if the Jedi returned, so would the gaze of the ruthless Sith who sought to destroy them.

When the Sith occupation of Dantooine ended, the settlers who had escaped their wrath rebuilt by salvaging the rare and unique items within the Jedi Enclave ruins. Although they didn't understand the purpose of many of the items, they knew the hefty price they would fetch would help sustain Dantooine without Republic support.

The salvaging endeavors in the enclave continued for centuries, but the damage from heavy equipment eventually took its toll on the ruins' integrity, and the Dantooinian government cracked down on all unauthorized salvaging before phasing out official efforts altogether. Many continued the work in secret, however, rather than find a new occupation.

The fall of the Eternal Empire and the renewed war between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic spelled the end for scavenging in the enclave ruins, as most citizens sought to profit from the Republic's keen interest in Dantooine's agricultural potential.

    The Hive Wars
Prior to the Kubazian discovery of space travel, Kubaz clans sustained their insectoid-based diet by maintaining and harvesting their own hives. Civil unrest grew as sustainability among neighboring clans' hives suffered. Continued shortages led to raids, which eventually resulted in an all-out war among the Kubaz, known as the Hive War.

The Hive War had a devastating effect on the Kubaz population. The war ended when Kubazian geneticists discovered Insecticulture, which offered new ways to genetically alter insects and assign them to specific clans.

    Aryn Leneer
Orphaned on the planet Balmorra, Aryn Leneer was discovered by Master Ven Zallow, the man who would train her in the ways of the Jedi. The two formed a close bond during their time together, and Aryn began to see Master Zallow as less of a teacher and more of a father.

The two Jedi fought valiantly in the Great Galactic War against the Sith Empire, and when Master Zallow fell to their enemies, Aryn vocally opposed the Republic's attempts to peacefully end the Sith occupation of Coruscant.

After her arguments were ignored, Aryn focused only on avenging Master Zallow. Against orders, Aryn fled her station on Alderaan, and with the help of her old friend and associate, Zeerid Korr, she breached the Sith blockade on Coruscant and tracked down Master Zallow's killer--Darth Malgus.

Aryn and the cruel Sith Lord fought fiercely against each other--with Aryn nearly killing Malgus's slave and lover--but their duel ended in a draw and a promise to kill one another should they ever meet again.

Aryn's actions resulted in her resignation from the Jedi Order.

    Darth Krovos
Darth Krovos's capacity for tactics and leadership was apparent even as a young acolyte on Korriban. As she prepared to complete her final trials, Krovos thoroughly studied the tomb where her task would take place, formulated a strategy, and convinced the other acolytes in her training group to take part. Everyone emerged from the tomb victorious, much to the chagrin of their Overseer.

Krovos vehemently defended her actions by claiming the Sith could never rule the galaxy if they needlessly slaughtered each other, but her argument was soundly ignored. In the end, her life was saved by the acolytes whom Krovos had convinced to work together--they threatened to kill the Overseer themselves if he harmed her.

Word of Krovos's triumph spread quickly, and her command of such loyalty, as well as her cunning mind, caught the attention of Darth Decimus, the head of the Sphere of Military Strategy. Decimus took Krovos as an apprentice, and under his tutelage, she quickly rose through the ranks.

Krovos's military career was highlighted by many victories, and before long, she was fighting on the front lines next to the likes of Darth Marr and Darth Malgus. However, despite Krovos's acclaim, she still strove to recognize the talent of others, as shown by her respect and admiration for her non-Sith colleague, Admiral Zasha Ranken.

    Darth Rivix
Little is known for certain about Darth Rivix's origins, or any part of his personal history before he joined the Imperial Diplomatic Service, and all inquiries into the matter seem to be met with dead ends. Even those who have directly asked Rivix to confirm details about his past have come away with more questions than answers. The perception of his interests and opinions seem to shift depending on who is speaking about him.

Those who worked with Rivix in the Diplomatic Service remember him as dedicated, charming, and as someone whose performance consistently stood out. Naturally, it came as no surprise to anyone when he was selected to lead the newly-formed Hand of the Empire.

Although other powerful Sith had competed for the position, naming Rivix as the Hand's liaison to the Alliance pleased many among the Empire's ranks, as Rivix's organizational and networking skills are considered second-to-none--despite his notorious secrecy.

    Master Sal-Deron
As shrewd as she is capable, Master Sal-Deron is an expert in reconnaissance and intelligence skills not typically possessed by members of the Jedi Order.

When Sal-Deron first began to assist with missions for the Republic's Strategic Information Service, some of the agents objected, as they were hesitant to trust an asset who might use conspicuous Force powers to complete such sensitive tasks. But before long, Sal-Deron had proved several times over that she didn't need to rely on the Force to extract information or infiltrate the enemy, and the detractors began to respect--if not outright admire--her expertise.

Master Sal-Deron became such an integral member of the SIS team that when the Eternal Empire invaded Republic space, several SIS agents helped Sal-Deron go to ground. During her time in hiding, Sal-Deron continued to work, using her contacts to track down and keep tabs on other Jedi who had gone underground. Her efforts in locating Jedi in exile throughout the galaxy form the foundation for Task Force Nova's objectives.

    Master Vinyor Tesh
Vinyor Tesh, the son of researchers based in the Manaan capital of Ahto City, was only a few years old when the Sith Empire attacked Manaan and destroyed all of its surface developments. Vinyor's parents were killed during the assault, and the young Nautolan barely escaped with the help of a visiting Jedi named Laotah.

Laotah brought young Vinyor to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant to give him the opportunity to work in the archives. After a few years on Coruscant, Vinyor showed signs that he was Force adept. Vinyor asked that he be allowed to continue working in the archives in addition to his Jedi training, as research tasks and cataloging records helped him feel a connection to his parents.

After Vinyor was displaced for a second time following the Sith Empire's attack on Coruscant, Vinyor focused on recovering and preserving lost records from places that had been destroyed by the Sith. As he attained the ranks of Jedi Knight and Jedi Master, Vinyor's desire to safeguard the valuable information in the Jedi's possession only grew.

Master Vinyor never forgot the stabilizing influence the Jedi provided during the chaos of his childhood, and joining Task Force Nova only emboldened his desire to maintain that stability by enforcing the Jedi's traditional rules and protocols. Any who challenge Master Vinyor's devotion to order and security within the Jedi--or try to change the Jedi into something new--are met with Vinyor's derision.

    Kubindi
The Kubazian homeworld of Kubindi, located in the Ku'Bakai system in the Calaron sector of the Outer Rim, was once covered in dense forest and vegetation. After a constant barrage of extreme solar flares and irradiation from the neighboring blue giant, Ku'Bakai, the landscape became arid and dry.

To escape this harsh climate, the Kubaz adapted by developing massive underground hives in Kubindi's cavern system.

    Well
Darth Krovos looks more qualified than most of the Dark Council right now. I like. That's a nice connection to Darth Decimus. It's almost as if the chain of succession of the Sphere was merely interrupted and she would have earned it from Decimus in an ideal galaxy - rather than after Arho, Malgus and Arkous basically turn the seat into a joke.

I mean she's probably going to die in this arc but yeah.

Some quotes/dialogues from the upcoming mission:
    • The Force feels so... unnatural here. These halls have seen so much pain and suffering--it echoes through the Force.
    • "Pain and suffering?" It's an abandoned Jedi temple--nothing more than a bunch of old rocks. What happened here?
    • Betrayal. Murder. The Sith were ruthless when they destroyed the enclave. So many senseless deaths...
    • And things weren't exactly ideal before the Sith came.
    • The Jedi here could alter a person's memories if they thought someone was susceptible to dark side corruption. They could wipe minds altogether... maybe worse.
    • No one knows what these Jedi were fully capable of. Not even Master Gnost-Dural.

I've got to say, the art and design teams really knocked it out of the park with the Enclave. I was expecting mostly reused assets from elsewhere, but I think they pretty faithfully recreated both levels of the Enclave extremely well.

That is if she isn't already dead to your character, by the Imperial Saboteur route on Onderon.

Sneaky BioWare trying to simplify the continuity to make it easier for them despite attempting multiple story routes.

Isn’t that Darth Savik rather than Darth Krovos on Onderon? Savik, Shaar and Anathel being killed is the maximum damage from the Onslaught, I thought

You can call Anathel damage for the devs, but not for the great Darth Nox, who will one day rise above the Empress herself and rule the Galaxy once more!

looks like we won't get to kill zman.:( I was really hoping to kill that whiny scumbag murderer.

But it is interesting that Syl (Vaylin) is a difficult student, but maybe she is making progress.
