There was a professional context to the meeting according to the article (namely unifying the game), and we don't know what the conversations were that he and Trump had on the course -- for all we know, they may have been at each other's throats (figuratively unless the Secret Service was sleeping on the job) the whole round. Hell, offer me an opportunity to play a round with Trump and I'd eagerly take you up on it just so I can point fingers and argue with him for five hours, or at least until the Secret Service removed me (they'd probably give a celebrity like Tiger a lot more leeway than a random person like me). And I don't even play golf in the first place. That article says nothing about Tiger's opinion of Trump. Give me one that does clearly say he supports Trump or Musk or their policies, and I'll accept it. But professional meeting ≠ political support.

Ah, yes, TMZ. The most reliable of sources out there. I don't think Tiger is in Trump's circle. Trump likes him because he is a pro golfer and a businessman. Dechambeau is the one who is actually in his circle. And I don't think Tiger and Dechambeau are on the best of terms after the whole LIV thing.
I think Tiger is uncomfortably close to Trump, but I don't see evidence that he supports Trump's policies. Based on what's been posted so far, it feels more like an arm's length business relationship, which has plenty of its own issues, but doesn't inherently make Tiger MAGA.
Tiger supports more of his policies than you think. He certainly will not speak up about anything, no matter how bad it gets. Like many rich people, Tiger sees Trump as a useful idiot. He wants his tax cuts and all that. Everything else? Tiger does not care about. If us peons suffer, it's nothing to him.
