Are you a coffee guy? Pop? Do you say pop or soda?

 

i call all carbonated beverages "cokes." the word "soda" is like nails grating on a chalkboard, and referring to a drink as "pop" should be illegal.

over the course of my life, I've been a mountain dew guy, then transitioned to gatorade in the mornings, and now a lot of coffee. trying to curb the habit a bit.

 

there are even people in corners of this earth who refer to beers as "pops," cubman. that is not okay.

 

Okay I'll agree with you on that. Pop is what pretty much everyone in Central Illinois says....actually I think most of Illinois but definitely here.

Okay so I started drinking coffee this year and am trying to cut down on my Code Red/Pepsi consumption....how do you take you coffee?

 

with a lot of cinnamon toast crunch-flavored coffee creamer. or snickers, oreo, pumpkin spice, occasionally hazelnut.

i have no interest in the taste of coffee itself - its just a caffeine instrument. the coffee creamer is what makes it good.

 

I use the Snickers creamer too!

 

kotor 1 - I like 2 a lot, but the first one was like a religious experience. i stayed up through the night, every night, just to finish it.

dp did knock me out of one draft recently - i'm not sure if it was baseball, but it was something, in the playoffs. i'd take the sox winning three.

so in my own goal, since it's the only position that can use them, i want the guy with four arms, no question. centre back is often where you find the leaders - kenobi would be the captain, windu the enforcer. at fullback i want the most committed, smartest players on the side to stall out the opposing attack and occasionally venture up to support my own. i also want imposing enforcers at midfield to support my back four, so i picked two giants. i accept that chewie would be the first red card, should anyone lay a hand on leia, jaina, or rey. on the wings i want dynamic, exciting, quick players - ventress lowkey might be the star of my team. at the center attacking mid, i want a calm, creative, strategically-minded player to support my striker. at striker i want the biggest, baddest diva ragemonster around - it came down to anakin and ren, but i thought i'd throw the pt forum a bone here.

my coaching staff would be the force ghosts of yoda, luke, and qui-gon.

 

disclaimer, i know nothing about fashion whatsoever.

b) i don't know if this qualifies, but the fashion reminds me of 1500s-1600s general (france/italy) wear.

thank you, good sir. i've played part of it - i am dreadful at keeping with story games, get distracted so easily. what i've played, i've enjoyed - struggle with the maps, though. very bad at navigation and figuring out where to go (also in real life). i have watched the ending on youtube, though, so i'm totally spoiled.

how old were you when you first heard of Star Wars?
pretty young, 8 or 9. knew about darth vader and yoda, but hadn't seen any of the films.

favorite thing about the prequels?
the vibrant physical locations, definitely. coruscant, naboo, utapau, even mustafar. so much color, "aliveness," and beauty.

Beside SW and the sport what fandoms are you invested in?
a few, some more recent than others. i've been a dc comics fan since i was very young, much younger than SW - superman first, batman second. fan of the mass effect universe, marvel (specifically x-men), and star trek (bits and pieces, mostly tng). harry potter and lord of the rings have never been my thing, and i've tried a few times to watch various works of anime - never really stuck.
