I've been looking for this thread!

Great Finale IMO!!! So much happened. Next season looks as if it's going to have a great "Fugitive" feel.

I really like the way the group has all split up, with Tweener, T-Bag and Haywire all on their own and Michael, Lincoln, Abrizzui, Sucre, and C-Note all together. The big group will probobly stick together, at least initially. I'm really hoping for Bellick to go rouge and to start hunting them down on his own. Between all the excitment of the escape, Sara's apparent suicide, the murder of the President, and Veronica finding the VP's brother I'm really excited for the next season. There's so much going on!

Yea, the finale was really good. I admit I was surprised that Haywire and Tweener are still in the wind, though. I thought for sure that Haywire would be recaptured and Belick would find and kill Tweener.

Anyway, I liked the whole thing, except T-Bag struggling to keep up with the others was ridiculous. If he didnt pass out or die from loss of blood he would certainly have went into shock yet he was able to somehow stay relatively close on the others' heels. Pretty silly, IMO, and I really hope that he ends up dead by the premiere next season. His character has always been way too much of a caricature for my tastes.

Oh, and even though it may sound messed up, I really hope that Sara is dead (even though its highly unlikely). For some reason I just dont like her, even more so after we learned of her past addiction, which just seemed way too out of character, IMO.

I liked the scene with Haywire riding away on the bike with his arms outstretched. Very cool.

Felt bad for Tweener, too. Glad he escaped.

Poor T Bag! He got a Luke Skywalker to him.

I liked how they missed the plane. Great touch! I just hope they don't get recaptured again.

I think it's a little lame how they are running into a field with the cops a hundred yards behind them. Any explanation of how they survive for the next fifteen minutes would stretch the imagination...let alone structuring an entire season of the show around the idea.

I admire Prison Break for shirking its concept so early on, but c'mon. They needed to let the escape happen without the cops being right on their heels. The cops should have been on their heels for sure...but not nipping at them.

I'm guessing the only way they can escape is if Michael/Lincoln's dad comes out of nowhere in a van or something and they all hop in and manage to escape. Otherwise, there is no way they can realistically make it out.

The episode was so tense! The entire time I was squeezing on my pillow hoping they wouldn't get caught.

Glad the old Abruzzi is back. [face_mischief] ;)

I thought T-Bag's ransom was rather lame. Abruzzi could have killed him & shot off the cuffs, however Abruzzi's solution worked well.

Most TV shows try to film 5 years of episodes in order to reach syndication. The way this show is going I don't think they could stretch it for that long. Has there been any talk about how long the producers' would like it to last?

IIRC they said they were only planning on a two year run.

I would have guessed that they'll get more than two years out of this. Three or four at the most.

It may depend on how well recieved the 2nd season is. The entire concept of the show is going to change. If it's not as big a hit as the first season was Fox could decide to drop it. Remember it is Fox, they cancel good shows all the time.

Enjoyed the finale a great deal. Though with the exception of Sarah's suicide, that was sad, the VP's assasination of the President, and Tea-bag's unsceduled surgery. I was not all that suprised by anything that went on.
Sarah's suicide/overdose was very much out of charactor. She never struck me as a Javert type. That is someone who once the foundation on which they built their life is compromised they kill themselves. Sarah did not seem like that type of person. Bellick, or Pope, maybe.
I loved Bellick's step into the dramatic lighting to deliver his "They just signed their death warrants..."line. That was so over the top I had to chuckle. Of course, the entire show is over the top. But in a fun, just paly along kind of way.
I can't wait to see where Tweener, Haywire, and Tea-Bag end up. Especially Haywire. With his helmet and bike. The way he said sorry to the girl was cool. A nice Steve Buschemi, in Con Air, bit.

A recent article in Entertainment Weekly said that the producers always envisoned the show going three seasons, but now there are rumors that it could go at least four after doing pretty well in its freshman season.

Anyway, I read some good news and bad news over at TVGuide.com. The good news is that PB will return for its second season sometime in mid to late August. The bad news is that it will have another really long hiatus after November sweeps, possibly not returning until late spring with the final episodes potentially running through the summer.

Now that really stinks. With all the failures FOX had this past season. I think they should run it along with '24'. Non-Stop Season. Now that would be sweet.
Although the saddest irony of all, with PB, they will probably end up back in Fox River anyway. Since they tried to escape. I wonder, and anxciously(sp) await what machinations the writers will place everyone in. And where they will end up. BRING IT ON!!!

When Pope found out that someone left the door to the infirmary unlocked for the escape, he sent some cops to her apartment. They found her lying on the couch and it looked as if she OD'd on morphine. They could probobly still revive her.

IIRC the DVD comes out in August so you could also see it that way before the new season starts.
