William Fichtner is his name. He's been in a lot of stuff: Contact, Armageddon, Heat, The Perfect Storm, etc.

Just finished watching the premiere and I mst say that I enjoyed it. Even though once Veronica called the cops I knew she'd be killed it was still shocking to see it happen, very surprising and very 24-esque. I guess they pretty much had written themselves into a corner by having her confront Steadman so her death was probably their only recourse. Personally Id rather that she would have lived and Sara die, but what're you gonna do ?

I also like the addition of William Fichnter (sp?) to the cast. Its cool seeing another character just as smart as Michael for a change and not five steps behind the like the warden and everyone else. Im looking forward to this season, and Im intriuged to see what will happen with the Fox River Eight (although T-Bag's storyline is just plain ludicrous, even for this show; Abruzzi should have killed him in last year's finale).

I'm glad this show is back so soon. It was a real standout last season. I was a bit annoyed though, to see Peter Stormare credited as a guest star though. I've tried to stay spoiler free.

When I was watching it last night I even thought to myself "The cops have their own Scofield!" :p

I still don't know why C Note is still with the gang? He just wanted to go see his wife. They should resolve his story quickly. I know Abruzzi's still with Linc and his brother, because they also have to find the guy that witnessed Abruzzi murdering someone.

C-Note is still with them because without Michael he'll get caught, same with Abruzzi. And since Abruzzi just escaped from prison the witness is irrelevant. Even if the witness dies Abruzzi still has to serve time for escape.

^Yeah, that's true. Season 2 kind of makes Season 1 less relevent, because everyone who's caught gets double time because they escaped.

This comes from an awesome, and hilarious, site I discovered last season. www.televisionwithoutpity.com

Dear Prison Break: When my adrenal gland breaks, I am blaming YOU. Also, I would like my quadriceps to return to normal, as they are currently cramped from sitting on the edge of my seat for fifty-odd straight minutes. Please send handsome masseurs to me, pronto.

So! What could have caused my grievous physical state? Only the most awesome season opener, that's what. We pick up with 62.5% of Team Escarpara hauling ass through the woods. They've missed the plane, so they use a train to put some distance between themselves and Bellick, and wrangle an automobile out of a hunter whose daughter is unlucky enough to stumble on them. Bellick sweats and snorts and snots and screams, "Scofield!" You know -- the usual.

What is new: the FBI agent played by William Fichtner, who actually has half a brain and therefore will be a worthy adversary for our little fugitive mastermind. Fichtner takes about five seconds to figure out that the entire escape plan is hidden in the tattoo, and announces the plot conceit that may make Season Two incredibly tense: he will decode the tattoo and beat Michael to wherever he's headed next. He didn't swing it this episode -- Team Escapara made it to the grave site where Michael had buried his carry-on luggage about ten minutes before Fichtner did -- but it's coming. Oh, yes, it is.

As for everyone else we know and/or love from Season One: Dr. Sara lives. A guilt-wracked Nurse Gossipson helpfully advances the plot by coming to visit, dropping off Sara's purse, and revealing the note Michael tucked in the bag. T-Bag is currently pushing the boundaries of cross-species medical knowledge. We have no idea what is going on with either Haywire or Tweener. And Veronica -- holy cow! The conspiracy dudes killed Veronica! And carried her body out in multiple Hefty bags, so you know there's no chance of this whole thing being some sort of pre-sweeps fake-out. RIP, Veronica. You died as you lived -- stupidly.

Haha, that's pretty funny about Veronica, although I still feel bad for her.

As far as why C-Note is still with the bros., well, he obviously cant go home to his family, plus he wants a chunk of the money Westmorland hid in Provo.

Ditto for Sucre. The cops will be posted outside of their homes just waiting for them to show up, so they have no choice but to stick with the dude that got them out in the first place.

Well, according to what I read over at meevee.com, Abruzzi, C-Note and Sucre decide to separate from Linc and Michael this week.

    Episode 2.2 : 'Otis'

Sucre, Abruzzi and C-Note make a run for it on their own, while Michael and Linc hatch a plot to spring LJ, whom Mahone is squeezing for information. Meanwhile, Tweener and T-Bag do what's necessary to stay on the loose.

Just picked up Season 1, finally got to see the rest of the show. (I only saw the first 11 or so episodes in England).

Also caught the first Season 2 episode, literally right after I got a TV.

Well, this new year is kind of boring. I finally saw the new episode, and it just felt weird. Gone were all the cool character relationships. Now, it's just another chase show.

It's still one of the better shows on TV. I'll just watch it to see who gets to Utah first.

I'm interested in the new FBI agent. There's still quite a bit of character development to go.

Pretty good episode tonight. It was kind of weird not having the bros. being able to break LJ out since everything's always worked out for them in the past. For a minute there I thought that Belick was going to eat his gun but having him going vigilante is much more interesting.

Also, where the hell has Kellerman been ? I would think that he'd be up front and center with the break out, especially with Reynolds out of the picture for now.

Won't be able to watch Episode II till the weekend.

I posted my thoughts in that "Season Premiere alert!: Prison Break tonite!" thread, but suffice to say that this show continues to entertain despite the silliness of it all. (Having Ficthner's character be as overpowered as Michael? Ridiculous, yet it's about the only way to counter him, so i'll roll with it).

Still think it's a copout to save Sara (c'mon, she was dead as a doornail!) but...eh, the characters are just so fascinating you can't help but love it all.

The station I was watching the episode does little info-bites during the commercials, and they said that the writer planned to have his characters die off like flies.

If that's the case than he should have killed off T-Bag. His storyline is bordering on the absurd.

Because the rest of the show is soooo beliveble.

I felt bad for Bellick when he was in his room and was worried that he was going to off himself. I'm very happy that he's going to continue to go after them like I've hoped since last season ended.

Of course the whole premise and the show as a whole is ludicrous, but for some reason the fact that T-Bag is still among the living bothers me.

    T-bag can go die.

Just saw the latest episode. My adrenal glands are still in perfect condition, oddly enough. That episode had very little tension, in my opinion.

I, too, am pissed that Peter Stormare is a "guest star". He's too badass to be a guest star. He should un-pimp their autos.

Also, I have a theory about the show's ending. Series finale ending. Everyone is caught, except for Haywire, who is seen biking past the prison as they stare out at him in amazement.

Episode tonight sucked. Nothing really happened in it. Goodbye model Taj Mahal.

Man, this show really seems to drag this year, and there's only been two aired episodes.

BTW, what happened to the Dad this season? I thought he was going to be a major character?
