Speaking of Funkos and guitars, I read yesterday that Gibson sued Funko over the likenesses of its guitars in some band's Funko Pops (I wanna say Guns 'n Roses? I think I saw Slash?). Like they got the licenses and permissions from the band, the record label, etc. but the company that makes the guitars on which the fake tiny plastic guitars the fake tiny plastic rock stars were holding were probably(?) based sued... because of what? Trade dress infringement? I don't normally care about this stuff, but that seems frivolous to me.

 

The Boss is playing in New York on November 4th if anyone wants to go.
Like, I won't be there, but, just fyi.

 

I haven't heard about that, but Slash is well known for using many different Gibson Les Paul guitars.

But yeah, that story sounds odd. Gibson has had a lot of problems lately though too. I don't really know what their deal is, tbh.

They make nice guitars though.

Yep, 23 now. I mean, he's had multiple jobs before, but he always ends up doing something stupid that gets him fired; one time for example, he quit because the manager was extremely rude. Not doing anything horrible, and yes, rude managers suck I'm sure, but he quit his job because the manager was a bit mean..... He also hasn't looked for a job in about 3 years as well, though whenever he comes to NYC in a month or two he really has to find a job.
