Anyone catch that at the end and notice 3p0 had his normal arm back And there was a red protocol droid? What was that all about

That other droid let 3P0 try it out for a couple days. But when he asked people if they noticed anything new about him, they also either said "no" or just ignored him or pushed him to the ground.

They amputated C-3PO's red arm, which then grew into a whole new red protocol droid. Kind of like the legs of a starfish.

Im starting to think that was a gaffe at the end of the movie as C 3po was not supposed to have his original arm back but it was to stay red.

It's an upgrade, it tells him when he's below 20% battery

No way. He waves that arm to let the audience know he did get it back.

Maybe the story 3P0 has involves getting his arm mixed up with an all red Protocol droid? Its not as if 3P0 hasn't been blown into pieces before ;)
