    Beautiful! =D=

And this little jewel I just found on Tumbler by some Kenobi truthers

"14) ……….this picture I took at Target. Luke, Anakin, Darth Vader, and Kylo all used similar grips. Rey’s and Obi-Wan’s grips are noticeably different, so… ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)" reylotrashlordrebloggedpeace-passion-reylo

I absolutely love this picture! But it makes me feel like Kylo is trying to cover himself in Vader's ashes to prevent the light from reaching him but yet it is reaching him.

That's true, whenever I've seen actors in real life I thought they were quite short and very thin, and nothing extraordinary as regards looks, in most cases. I have seen people who are far more attractive and are not actors. What you say is nice, he is cute in an understated unconventional way,so you think you are perhaps the only one who likes that guy but later you discover he has the same effect on more people than you expected. I can imagine that.

Perhaps you had the feeling that you liked the class nerd,as you put it, because he is so far from you typical movie star, he doesn't behave like one, I mean, and he doesn't consider himself as one. He says he doesn't like red carpets and they make him feel uncomfortable.

Just a quick question, seeing that it's 892 already, how long will it take for this threat to reach 1000???

I dont think we are supposed to know yet, if it is explained within the next 2 movies (which is quite a bit of time to do so) then when you look back on TFA you would see the hints which were there the whole time

When I look at Rey/Ren scenes, I can see they are symbolic and metaphoric, however they are not spelling out a love story at this point in the franchise, but they are pointing to it, and if they are endgame, it will look obvious when you look back on TFA.

Thats how I see it with Rey Kenobi theory.

    http://reylotrashlord.tumblr.com/post/140586711360/a-brief-tldr-of-major-known-reyobi-wan

Here is the whole post, but I think there are a few Rey/Obi parallels that are not mentioned in Geminiwankenobi

    7) Goes hand to hand with Kylo Ren, with certain moments in the battle almost mirroring Obi Wan’s final battle with Anikin in RotS exactly.
    8) Abandons Kylo Ren on the battle field in a very similar manner to which Obi Wan abandoned Anikin

    9) Understands Droid and Shyriiwook.
    10) A lot of people use the piloting as an exclusively Skywalker trait, but Obi-Wan was also an excellent pilot. He just didn’t enjoy it.
    11) The Phantom Menace scene where Obi-Wan fixes a ship by ripping something out. (I was inebriated when I rewatched this so I can’t remember specifics, BUT it did happen because I yelled about it). !!!!! This was when I first began to believe in Rey Kenobi
    12) Another thing people chalk up to being just a Luke trait: both witnessed the death of their mentor/paternal figure. However, Obi-Wan and Rey got revenge.(I know that Luke blew up the Death Star and that’s arguably a form of revenge, but that’s inherently different from dueling someone and maiming or killing them).
    13) Both have the capacity for extreme rage and have used it when fighting. Obi-Wan pretends that he doesn’t feel emotions that sharply or let them affect his decisions, but his duel with Darth Maul points otherwise. It’s only when Obi-Wan focuses that he’s able to defeat Darth Maul.

When I saw this pic of the dragon and phoenix, I could almost imagine the dragon saying- You need a teacher, I can show you the ways of the force....and the phoenix closing it's eyes and mumbling- the force....:p

    Brobi-Wan has good taste.

I think it was only a week or so ago when we were at 800, so it should only be about 2 weeks and we should reach 1000, no broblem!

If people also want to get a good idea about what themes they wanted to bring into the franchise, sometimes the earliest concepts will reveal it to you, however many get abandoned as well. But I ean come on, they clearly stuck with this one, it was something they wanted to do right from the start:

It's funny that we know exactly who Kylo Ren is related to, but we have no idea for Rey, while we know exactly what Rey was doing most of her life, thanks to her survival guide, but Kylo's backstory is about as mysterious as Rey's parentage. The parallels....

Whoever Rey's parents turn out to be, i feel like every theory is going to need a lot of explaining since they made it such a mystery. I can only think they made it a mystery because it is somehow important to the plot. At this point, though, I'm afraid everyone is going to be disappointed. I'm still going to hope they have something really good planned, though.

I agree. This "rising from the ashes" metaphor is fantastic and possibly pretty accurate. I mean they showed ashes *twice*. Okay, the first one was with Vader's helmet, so you can just say that those ashes are probably from the funeral pyre and are just part and parcel of the larger Vader shrine. But the second set of ashes ... IMO, that's unnecessary. They didn't *need to have* a pile of ashes in the interrogation room. If they are going to burn somebody, they wouldn't need wood to do it. It's also very interesting that that's where Kylo puts his helmet when he takes it off for Rey ... like the Kylo mask in the ashes represents his current low state, but then he walks away from them to her, at least momentarily. So yeah, ashes mean something.

Also, thank you @MoonFrye for pointing out the symbology of the phoenix in both Jewish and Chinese culture. The Chinese version fits with the larger "Space Panda/Yin & Yang" theme, but I find the Jewish interpretation to be especially poignant for Kylo (and maybe Rey, depending on where she goes). The idea of "victory over temptation" is such a satisfying concept for a character like him. For him it would literally be like throwing off the chains, and visually, it might be the moment of the lightsaber flies into his hand.

I thought Satine died during The Clone Wars cartoon run, but her sister, Bo Katan, on the other hand, might still be alive:

Funny how those women took 'Solitary' to mean she's Han's child...I hope they're not too disappointed, now that Daisys confirmed Rey's not a Solo...

god I really hope that this franchise is not copying Phantom of the Opera to a tee...it sounds very similar, I hope they are just taking elements and will not copy her choice.
