We need to see more of these guys. I mean, I hated the Bounty Hunter Wars as much as anybody, but c'mon - flying Hutts!

    o_O

    Hutts are sweet!

I think the closest we have is this armored Hutt.

I don't think its a Shell Hutt, though.

You could slap a repulsor or two on that bad boy; no problem.

Suddenly Koozak the Hutt is much more credible.[face_dancing]

The Shell Hutts's shell is a cylindirical repulsorlift device with an iris hatch and mechanical arms.

The Shell Hutt segment was one of my favorite parts of Bounty Hunter Wars. Great action and more than a little dark humor.

    Two questions:

1.) How many Hutts are there in the galaxy? They can't all be crimelords

2.) Is there an honest/ straight Hutt?

There have been several Hutts that are (or at least, claim to be...) honest. These include Embra(Underworld comic), Groola (Coruscant and the Core Worlds), and Boonda (Droids comics). There was also the one Hutt in the Sith Empire comics, but I forget his name.

So yes, most Hutts are crimelords. Its a cultural thing. :p

I'm writing a semi-decent Hutt in The Darkened Path, simply because I was thinking just that. He's still a bit of a lowlife, but is a veritable angel next to the likes of Jabba. I took as my inspiration some of the Hutt NPCs in KOTOR who are disreputable but not outright evil.

I took Jabba a lot more seriously after he ate a man alive bones and all in his miniseries.

Aarba the Hutt...a close friend, and semi-guardian, of Gav and Jori Daragon after their parents were killed in crossfire during the Empress Teta system's Unification Wars.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

I haven't read the New Essential Chronology yet, but apparently there's mention of a Hutt (Blotus) who was the Supreme Chancellor of the Republic for nearly three hundred years. Any word on what sort of the nature (criminal or upstanding) he had?

I wonder, was he decent enough to wear clothes? A Hutt in a robe would be interesting to see... :p

Blotus sounds like an interesting character. Too bad we'll probably never see more of him, other than a reference or two.

Thank God they were still using the old ampitheatre-style Senate Hall then. I can't see a Hutt fitting in that little stage from the Palpy era!
