I'm currently reading Survivor's Quest on my Kindle and marveling over the fact that I'm pretty sure I missed this novel when it was published and am barely reading it for the very first time. None of it seems familiar to me. I'm...a little ashamed. And perplexed. (I was still in the fandom then, so...guess I had a brain fart back then.)

 

I LOVE Chasing Dreams. I hope you find it so we can all enjoy it again.

I'm actually ashamed to admit this, but I've never actually read Survivor's Quest I need to. I'm pretty sure I have the audiobook and I'm going to put it on my phone so I can listen to it on bus rides.

 

Well, then we can be mutually ashamed! At least I'm not alone then, lol.

And I haven't read Choices of One, either. But I love Survivor's Quest. I even wrote a 'ginchy shine' for it.

So the lovely Hazel has been able to forward me my old fic Chasing Dreams - what is the general protocol, do I simply go back to the old thread and add the full chapters, or re-post in a new thread? (Or just post off-site?)

LOL I haven't read Choices of One yet but I do have it on my to read list from the library. At the time or near abouts, there was an ff AU spin on CoA, which satisfied my L/M cravings.

 

Hurrah! And the answer is, you can do either. Since it is an older fic, I'd honestly suggest reposting it in a new thread, since a lot of newbies may not even know of it's existance.

 

I hope it isn't the one I read. It started out as what I thought would be a L/M love story and morphed into something unimaginable.

Lol. I know the one JL is talking about, it was posted on FF.n. It certainly wasn't Crossing Paths.

So, I decided to turn my EP 7 challenge fic into a full story. The things you people convince me to do.

I'm liking the beard, it was a VERY wise decision IMO. Don't get me wrong, I'm on the beard train. But is it just me, or is he looking like Jeff Bridges?

 

It was a wise choice. The beard makes him look younger! (and covers up the aging/scarring) And you're not the first person I've seen say Jeff Bridges. When he popped up at the Guardians of the Galaxy premiere a couple of weeks ago, a lot of people said "Hamill or Bridges?"
