I'll have to get back to you on that, kataja. I'm almost do the forest scenes in HttE. I really think that's when Luke started to feel, at the very least, pity for her. And he saw her skills with a lightsaber and (IMO and also TZ's) that's when he remembered her from CoO. And even though they were on different sides, he had very positive feelings about her back then.

Also, if you haven't yet watched the Tatooine deleted scenes, try to find them on YouTube. I think every author needs to watch them to remember that Luke is a farmboy! And he's so gosh-darn cute. There's a part with him and Biggs when Biggs says that Luke has a mouth the size of a meteor, and Luke responds, "I'm quiet, I'm quiet!" (whispering) "Listen to how quiet I am, you can barely hear me!" I just about died laughing.

 

He really is!!! Some of the scenes, Like the Biggs+Luke scene, are to be found in the novelzations of comics - but it's great to actually see them.

 

Oh, and Camie - what a beyotch. I'm so glad I've read Jedi Trace's fic "The Worst Day" to see Camie get her comeuppance.

 

Lol! I spent like an hour the other day, looking for and watching deleted scenes on YouTube. The two ANH Tatooine ones are definitely two of my favorites. I just want to slap Camie and hug Luke! He is definitely a naive Farmboy.

I will be watching those scenes a lot in the coming weeks for research for my Dawning sequel.

See, the thing about the Blu Ray that's awesome is when you cue up that scene on the menu, you get a very nice shot of Luke. I had that shot on the screen for about half an hour yesterday before I realized I hadn't pressed play yet.

All I can remember is her mentioning how strong his hands are in VOTF, I think when they were in that archway above those fire-creeper things... But surely she noticed somewhere before then... Course, if he was always wearing those darn black shirts and that INSANELY STUPID BLACK GLOVE that makes ginchy want to pound her head against the wall, maybe she never noticed. LOL
