Laura: You could always use that against her in school. A 17 has to stay for a few hours, just to keep her from being alone. Weird.

Have fun in your new home kiddos. I'm glad you were all so amicable to the move. I know it's hard losing something you love, but being here as long as I have, there have been many threads to die much more uncomfortable deaths than the Newbie Party. The UBB boards were pretty ugly at times. And there was a time when you would have been forced to create new thread after new thread, named with various volume numbers, if you wanted a post count as high as y'all got.

Anywho, thanks again. I just might have to stop by and say hi now and again. Keep the Newbies who have recently graduated on the straight and narrow

Yes, I saw that. It's great. Frankly I'm surprised an admin didn't create one of those earlier. Back in my earlier days I was one of the primary members for teaching newbies the ropes. I actually took on padawans and everything. Of course this place grew so fast since the time of the snwoboard move, and my habits died with the move too .

But, this wiley bunch just may have pulled me back in. I'd also like to extend the invitation which Chocos has already taken advantage of. I'm always here for chatting, and just getting to know. AIM me whenever you feel like it. I can be a very busy guy, so I may not always have the time for a long conversation, but I'll always say hi!

Hey, Julia! Actually, I am pretty tired. Some of my students (I'm an acting teacher) are in a local production of A Christmas Carol, and I am helping them prepare for their roles. I'm just glad that I've gotten some time to talk with you!

I want to teach at elementary school.
I'm studying three subjects - german, maths and a third one, but I have no idea how you call that in english.

 

I think she'll make a great teacher. I take you're a good one yourself.

 

Wow, I am impressed, Julia. You sound like a very smart person! I wish I was good at school, but I wasn't. I was just really lucky that I could act and sing! That was what got me into university! I studied theater, vocal performance, and Italian.
