I'm glad I'm not the only one confused about the Tony/Christopher/Carmela relationship. How many hidden relatives has this family got? I sense an inconsistency somewhere, but I'm too lazy to go through all four seasons of DVD's to pinpoint it.

I dont know, I was wondering about what had happened with Artie and all I remembered was him getting a beating and his 'suicide' attempt. God's he's pathetic.

As far as the whole family situation goes, Carmela and Christopher are cousins. Dickie Moltisante was Carmela's first cousin, and Adriana said that Dickie and Tony were like brothers, so that's why he always considered Christopher to be his 'nephew'.

I have no clue how the Tony B. thing ties in, though, or why they even decided to throw that in at all.

-Artie loaned his waitress' brother $$ in order to invest in vodka, that was supposedly better than grey goose

-To loan the brother money, Artie originally goes to Ralphie for a loan, who turns him down, b/c Ralphie does not want to have to get physical w/ Arite.

-Tony finds out about this, and loans Arite the $$

-Artie had a hard time tracking the guy down, when he fianely does, the guy said he lost the money, and can't pay him back.

-Artie tries to beat the guy up, but gets his earring riped out of his ear, and beaten up.

-Artie takes some painkillers, than fearing Tony's wrath finished off the rest of the painkillers, and a bottle of vodka.

-Tony finds what happened and rushes Artie to the hospital.

-While this going on, Tony learns that one of his former mistresses, and also a patient to Dr. Melfi killed herself.

-When Artie comes through, he says that Tony knew exactly what would happen from the very beginning.

-Tony flips, he tells Artie to say he was robbed, takes Artie's watch as part of the co-pay, tells Artie that his tab is wiped clean, and sends Furio to collect the debt.

Does the above help you out?

My favirote memory of Furio is when he and Tony are on the golf course, giving Dr. Kennedy a present, and how he drives like through the golf course.

Interestingly enough, I was watching the Season Three episode, "University" today when I noticed Carmela shout to AJ, although it was actually Meadow coming in, to "call Lindsey Blundetto."

So who is this Lindsey? Is she related to Tony B? How?

I think Lindsey is Tony B's daughter that has all but forsaken the family. A small pic of her was shown last week.

When you consider the way things are going with Feech, Johnny Sachs, Lorraine, Paulie, Christopher and Tony, I would say a major gang war is inevitable before season's end. FWIW, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if some people flip flop sides during the conflict as well. I could easily see Christopher's anger at being an errand boy take him to another side.
I actually think that this whole season might be one major war brewing and it will erupt/begin with the season finale, thus setting the stage for a bloody sixth and final season with a long list of casualties.

A way to look at it is this season will end on the same note as AOTC.

I'd hope it would be an inter-family war and not a civil war.

I hope David Lee Roth gets curbed to death...

Darth Blasphemous: Christopher will never flip sides. His ties to Tony run way too deep. Don't forget, he owes Tony for finding out (and bringing to justice) the man who killed his father.

Well, its still debatable whether or not that cop really did kill Christopher's father, but its obvious that his loyalty to Tony runs so deep that the truth really didnt matter to him all that much.

I agree, Christopher aint no rat.

yeah, Im still not convinced that cop killed chris's father, but to Chris I dont think there is any doubt.

Tony could have an alterior motive for telling chris that. He could have just wanted that cop dead, but at the same time he could have been cementing Chris's loyalty and devotion. Darth Soprano-sidious anyone?

Was David Lee Roth in last nights episode?

Hold the damn phone, is this true [face_laugh]
    Oh man, that's to much.
Does Tony have a vision of his youth where he is at a VanHalen concert or something.
Oh that's to much, is Valerie Burtonellie going to be on the show also?

No, DLR is in a poker game that either Tony is playing in or getting a cut of. And I don't know who Lindsay Blundetto is, but Angel or Angela is Tony B's daughter. Lindsay might be his niece?

It's a mystery, and you'd assume it was someone AJ's age, (unless Tony B has a sister and AJ had to phone her to say thanks for a present or something).

But then again, then were lots of mentions of a "Ralphie" in Season 2, and one of them wasn't Ralph Cifaretto (one Ralphie was mentioned getting his Brazilian goomara pregnant).

Lorraine's attempt to get out of her situation was amusing as well. Of coures from what the other gangsters said, she is one of the more trigger happy among them, so she might have deserved what she was going to get.

The comments about that to Lorraine's little boy toy were pretty funny too. Is it considered too much of a spoiler to say that I heard a major character is supposed to die next week?

I think that Lorraine is turning out to be an interesting character, if only because its so strange seeing a woman in such a high ranking position.

Yea, Id heard the same thing, veruca. Any bets on who it may be (without revealing any actual spoilers, ofc course).

Im thinking it'll almost definitely be Junior, although it could very well be Paulie...
