The Blues' back-up goalie is just as bad.

 

Guys I went to two stores looking for this for Christmas for my brother. No one had them in. They said they think the shirt is a on line special.

 

I think we can all agree that the Blues, in general, are terrible. Shoddy defense, abysmal goaltending, and not enough timely scoring. I have tickets to the game on the 10th, they better win that.

 

I hope they do also.

 

I have tickets to the game after Christmas. My aunt ordered them, asking for $50.00 tickets and the guy thought she said $15.00 tickets. Now we have crappy seats and a crappy team. I am glad now that we didn't spend the $50.00

I went to the River Otters last year and had a whole bunch of fun. Wish they wanted to do that when my cousins came into town.

I adore Lalime. The amount of quality shots that he's getting are horrid. There's a difference between a shot on goal that counts on the board but is poorly timed and most likely wouldn't go in anyway, and a shot on goal that is set up with little to no defence around it. It's just sad.

We've been to about 10 games so far this year, and I've only seen one victory.

They don't have any goal scorers or defence. We (Patrick and I) were afraid that they'd start ripping Lalime apart. Sure, on paper it doesn't look good. But watch the shots. There's only so many timed or breakaway type shots that any goalie could face without losing some. They need someone out there who won't sit on the lines and watch the other team skate past.

But, we're going on Sunday. Hopefully we'll see another W then!

 

Hey all, if you have a few moments, would you mind saying a prayer or two for Patrick? He had a doctor's appointment today that didn't go so well. Kind of hard news to take that puts a lot of things in perspective.

 

What happened, Danielle? (And, of course, I'll say a prayer or two...or anything else that helps.)

Thank you, everyone, for all of the PM's, e-mails, posts and comments - it helps to know that we have such wonderful support! We'll keep you all posted as time goes on. I know that he's going to using an ankle brace soon to help support it and keep the swelling at a minimum.

So, we're just waiting for the specialist to call with an appointment. Since it's the VA, that could be anytime within the next 6 months. *sigh*

 

I agree with ya. The team isn't playing like they have in the past and with the strike and all we lost a few of the good players we had from the last season we played, like pronger and demitra, but I am pleased that we did keep teh few good players, like drake, weight just to name some, but hopefully we can turn thus season around or find out what we need to work on to improve before it's to late.
