Truthfully I'd be more interested if DC made a live action film saga (or series) following the Bombshells comics. I thought it was cool how it portrayed young Bruce was actually influenced into fighting crime by Batwoman.

If he were then why would Keaton say his old Batsuit still fit him perfectly?

And yet you capitalized it anyways ;).

I don’t think looks much matter at all. Audiences have already been introduced to radically different looking multiverse character variants via Spider-verse, Loki, DC CW crossovers and (by time this comes out), NWH & Strange 2.

By having both Batfleck and Batkeaton in the same film as a visual contrast (one likely to be verbalized clearly by Barry for expositional purposes), I don’t think audiences (or the story itself) will trip itself up over that.

I'm not sure. Maybe they're using the 80s design for the Flashpoint universe?

"What did you do?!" = "Where's the trigger?!"

And even though The Batman is going to be it's own thing, I immediately started daydreaming if/when they're going to Crisis on Infinite Earths and have Pattinson/Affleck/Keaton Batmen team up. Unlikely, though. This is definitely it's own thing, how it'll make itself as distinctive as the Nolan/Schumacher/Burton movies were. Looks the most similar to Nolan's right now though but we haven't had movie Riddler or Penguin in awhile though and those were very distinctive of the directors tone so it'll be cool to see them here and what their take is. Farrell's hollering while blowing up the Batmobile gave me some Batman Returns vibes. "I got you!" "You gotta admit I played this city like a harp from hell!"

Snyder's Batman was more of a supporting character in a Justice League/DCEU verse. I did like how Affleck Batman fought aliens and monsters though, which is totally something Batman does. Not looking like that's happening again for awhile though.

Loved the trailer. I find it fascinating how talented people can create different universes around these characters -- generally true to the essentials, but very different in tone, appearance, etc. I hope the Riddler is as creepy as he's come across in what we've seen to this point, and I am loving what we've seen of Batman and the Penguin. Very hopeful.

Re the FLASH movie... frankly, I just love the idea of the Affleck and Keaton "Batmen" being in the same movie, regarding a DC multiverse, even if they don't hew closely to FLASHPOINT!!!

It isn't the crossover we need, it's the crossover we deserve:

"According to IMAX Melbourne, Matt Reeves’ The Batman allegedly runs a stonking 176 minutes long—just four minutes shy of three hours."

If he does the Watusi again, then I'd want the movie to be at least four hours long!

To be fair, at least 37 minutes of the runtime will be a loop of this:

    As it should be.

Five minutes of that runtime is Martha's pearl necklace snapping while a sad string arrangement of "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!" plays.
