"Each planet under Imperial control has one senator, appointed by the Planetary Governor.
I also have numerous Ministers. Among them are the Minister of Defense, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Labor, Minister of Imperial Intelligence, Director of the ISB((you are D of ISB which is a Ministry level position)), Minister of the Treasury, Minister of the Interior, and numerous others that I will mention if need be. Do you have any questions?" Kali was dizzy by the time he finished.

"No, no questions..."

 

Palpatine smiles at her and says, "I understand this is a lot to hear in one day, but I have faith in you."

Palpatine hugs Kali and gives her a thumbs-up.

Palpatine says, "I will give you time to get settled in."

Palpatine walks out of the room and leaves the ISB sector of the Imperial Center."

Kali sneered at him, she stiffened when he hugged her. "Stupid office." She muttered. There wasn't even an air duct to get out.

 

Kali sat in a surprisingly comfy chair, there were already papers on her desk, there were two more chairs in front of her. She walked over to the bay window and sat down. She looked over the whole city- a little girl waved to her and she waved back. She then wondered where she was living. She looked over at a book case. -yeah like I ever read- she thought to herself. "What the hell am I suppose to do now?" She asked herself.

 

Tillex went into the office where Kali was.

"Hello," he said. "I hear you're some kind of theif."

 

Kali raised her eyebrows. "Some kind of theif? I'm one of the best." She sneered, putting her feet up on the bay window. "I'm not gunna be here for long." She said, a odd twinkle in her eye.

 

A holo comes into her office from the Imperial Housing Authority.

"Director Kali, you are authorized for Level C housing. Your condominium is located adjacent to Imperial Center, walk across the enclosed skybridge labeled: Gateway to ISB Housing Project."


((Level A=Emperor's Palace, Level B=Grand Vizier's, Supreme Moff's Housing, Level C=High-level Imperial Bureaucrats, Level D=Senators and Upper Military, Level E=Middle Management and Military Officers, Level F=Enlisted Military and Low-level bureaucrats, Level G=Low-Income Housing Projects, Level H=Imperial Prison))

Kali turned to the holo gram as it spoke.

"Director Kali, you are authorized for Level C housing. Your condominium is located adjacent to Imperial Center, walk across the enclosed skybridge labeled: Gateway to ISB Housing Project."

"Very well, coming." She did as she was told, leaving the stranger behind. She moved across the bridge, then to lvl C.
She stopped, wondering where she was suppose to go next. She turned, using her data pad she moved towards the door that had her name on it, and her barcode, pushing in the special number code she entered. Taking in a breath she looked around, the liviing room had one huge window that made up the wall. She looked in the bedroom and looked at the king sized bed. She walked in, looking in the closet she was disgusted at the clothing that was there. She moved into the fresher, it was nothing out of the ordianary, except a little bigger maybe. Then there were holo grams and such, all the normal things you would see. She walked over the the book case, looking at all teh different chips that held stories.

 

Tillex got out his lightsaber. And grinned.

"Oh, I'm afraid I can't let you do that," he said.

 

Emperor Palpatine had a splendid, luxurious and large. Large on a planet where space was at a premium.

Besides his huge and armored oak desk, behind which the diminutive Palpatine sits in his plush executive chair, there is a large mahogany conference table with expensive seating for about 10 people, not including Palpatine's throne-like chair at the head. Holocomms, holocams, and holograms adorn numerous walls, a huge windown behind Palpatine's chair looks out over regal Coruscant and it denizens. Plush carpets adorn the floors, several priceless works of art are on the walls.

Before entering the office itself, one must go through a huge anteroom where several Royal Guards and a secretary are. The secretary at her desk, and the guards at several posts.

 

Palpatine activates a holo to contact Tillex:

"This is Emperor Palpatine, report to my office immediately."

 

Kali spinned and looked at Tillex ((sorry if I spelled it wrong)). "What are you doing here? This is my home!" Kali shut her mouth, she supposed she would have to say it for now, but not forever...

 

OOC: Ack! This thread moves too fast!

IC: Narané was at Imperial Center. Dressed in a nondescript cloak, she had a blaster and a vibroblade hidden beneath it. She also had a lightsaber clipped to her belt.

OOC: You told me to wait at Imperial Center, so here I am.

 

Tillex heard the message.

"As much as I'd love to answer that," he said. "I have business elsewhere."

Tillex walked out and up to Palpatine's throne room. He bowed before him. Then got up.

"What is it?" Tillex asked.

 

Kali sat down, bored. She moved out into a hall way. Seeing many people walking by, she joined the crowd. Soon she was back in her appartment, several credits and valuable items in her pocket.

Palpatine sit in his chair, sipping some caf and thinking. Thinking about his new Empire, his new Director of the ISB, and just about everything else.

He decides to speak with his D of ISB. He pushes a button on his large desk and speaks into a holocomm.

"Director Kali, report to Emperor Palpatine's office ASAP."

 

Kali was looking through all of the things she had stolen when the holo gram came in.

"On my way." She stuffed the items back into her pockets, then soon, she was standing on front of Palpatine.

"Can I help you with something?"

 

Palpatine looks up from his work and into the beautiful eyes of Kali. He casually raps his knuckles on the oak desk.

"Well......Director.....how do you enjoy your post so far?"

 

Kali dug into her pockets then took out a bunch of jewelery and credits. "Your people are stupid." She said non-chalontly. "I have more in my apartment." She smirked then dug out more. "This is how much I got on the way here." She dumped more out on his desk. "I'm leaving soon, you asked me to give you a chance and I did, don't try to stop me, and I won't be found again."

 

Palpatine smiles at her and says, "Why do you wish to leave?"

He stands up, walks around his desk and stands directly in front of Kali.

 

Kali glared at him. "I am a prisoner, I am not free here. You are nothing but a tyrant who likes to play king!" She began quietly but when she was finished her voice was hollaring.

 

Palpatine hugs Kali gently and pats her on the head.

"It's okay, I forgive you for insulting me."

After a few seconds Palpatine continues:

"There is someone I want you to meet.....his name is Tarkin, he is Grand Moff of the Outer Rim."

The regal and sternlooking Tarkin opens the office door and slowly enters and bows to Palpatine.

Tarkin: "Good evening, Your Highness."

Palpatine nods hello at Tarkin.

 

Kali glared at Palpatine then shoved him away. "I meant to insult you, you old sod! I don't want to met any of your scewed up people!" She turned to leave.

 

Palpatine glares at her as she starts to leave.....Palpatine activates the door lock so that Kali cannot exit the office.
