    I think the panel is around 12:30 in the afternoon on Dec 1st in Tokyo. That would put it at 10:30PM EST in the states.

    Of course they also showed off some sculpts and artwork:




    Rodan's wings on the sculpt look like a flow of molten lava that is just starting to crust over:




    Mothra's body looks very similar to the MUTO's from the first movie:

    A lot of crowd chatter (though the music builds up to drown out as it goes along) but someone recorded the full Godzilla theme as it was playing. It heavily evokes his theme from the classic movies. Looking forward to hearing it boom along in a Dolby theater (the second video is the full one):

    Understandable, the King of Monsters is no match for the combine star power of the Captain Marvel and the Mighty Avengers. Which makes more disappointed the trailer didn't drop over the weekend. However, I can wait until the buzz for the trailers of Captain Marvel and Avengers 4 to die down so that the King of Monsters gets it proper spotlight.

    Yeah, but it kinda hurts 'em as far having a new trailer to run in front of Aquaman when it opens in China this weekend. Though I suppose if they're willing to put up with a day or two of cell phone recordings showing up online they could just cold drop in front of it in China anyway then release it online this weekend.

    Yeah. If there's a movie that screams IMAX + Dolby Sound on the near horizon, it's this one (though granted there are a few others as well).

    What I love is that they’ve taken one of my favorite TV tropes (the Godzilla Threshold*) and made it the plot of the whole daggum movie!






    *you know you’re well and truly [censored] when calling Godzilla is the solution. When that happens, you’ve crossed the Godzilla Threshold.

    And IMAX will get to reuse the Godzilla roar countdown intro again. :D

    Yeah- it looks like concept art come to life. Finished film shots rarely look as good at the concept art.
