That is Shannon as Mara. The person who posed for Mirax was a model, and she has almost-black hair. She's on a separate card.

I don't even think Mike is married. I've met him four or five times and I've never seen any sign of a wife. In fact, I'm 99% sure he's not.

As I stated earlier, Frett, the three-letter abbreviation for "Japan" is "JPN", not "JAP".

The woman who posed as Mirax for the Decipher cards is a random model. I asked Mike Stackpole who this woman was when I met him at GenCon, and he said he did not know her name, that she had done her shot before he got there, but that she looked the part. This woman, I repeat, is NOT Liz Danforth. To the best of my knowledge, they are not married, either, but I could be wrong there.

Is it me or does the pic of Jaina in the flightsuit at TOS kinda look like J-Lo?

And as far as the word "jap" goes. I feel that some people are getting offended a little too easy these days over something that was innocent. It was used as an abbreviation and not a racial slur. Yes, as you said, the correct abbreviation is JPN, but not everyone knows this. Hell, most people don't even know the correct postal abbreviations in the USA, or for that matter can even spell correctly. Now if the word "jap" had been used in a manner such as "on the book covers by the japs" then I would support you. That was not the case and it looks like you guys jumped the gun on it. I don't know, just too many "too PC" folks these days.

I am so sick of seeing and hearing about [pick your country]-American! Either you are an American or your some other nationality! Pick one! And if you don't want to be an American then why stay in this country? I believe it was Theodore Roosevelt that said that there is no room for a hypenated America. I've seen the quote before but don't remember it exactly. It just says that this country can not stand until we are united as a country. A hyphenated America is a divided America! For goodness sakes people, don't let the media make you think that you are a hyphenated American! If you were born in this country then you are 100% American! If you came to this country and are now a citizen of this great nation then you are now 100% American! God Bless America. The land of the free!

Oh, say can you see, that their pics are all wrong, by the light of my screen, I'm penning this so-ong.
Mike Stackpole's a good scibe, but he's not Corran Horn
And I simply abhor anything by Dave Dorman

Cuz the faces look warped, the noses are all skewed, And for us U.S. readers, it looks like we're screwed

Oh say are their artists just missing the maaaaaaark
Cuz it looks like their piiiiiics
Were drawn in the dark. :)

Uh, was I supposed to take off my hat?

Oh, shut up about ethnic pride being bad. I bet you're white and don't know what you're talking about. If you're not... then I've made quite an ass out of myself...

Well I think Tim Zahn as Karrde is okay but MS as Corran... well he really wasn't what I imagined for Corran but I've accepted it. Shannon Baska as Mara is cool too.

And as for the Solo kids, they always looked a little... bleh. I never liked how they looked on any of the EU covers save for Jacen (Anakin?) on BP.

And getting down to the racial discussion thing, Skywalker2B, I agree with you on some points (even though I'm Canadian) but a person can't also forget about their heritage and the country they came from. Saying that you're [insert name of country here]-American is just a way of showing pride and acknowledgement of your own heritage. :)

Blah some of those hyphenated titles are a bit too awkward sounding.

Luckily for me, Chinese-Canadian fits perfectly together :p
