meditation is something that takes time to enter.its not a skill thats apllied at the snap of a finger.they key word is meditation which cant happen at the drop of a dime.thus her using it without being away from the battle is very hard to do .nomi may be a legend but she is not a franchise player thus she cant defeat 2 people at once. the trump wins.

e_s, while it can't be used "at the snap of a finger", you don't have to be in a Yoga position to accomplish it. Nomi has used it before during combat, many times, as did Arca Jeth, as did the Jedi in the NJO. It can be used not only to strengthen the fighting abilities of your allies, but lower the fighting abilities of your enemies. I'm not expecting you to change your vote, it's too late for that; I'm just saying that your facts are wrong.

My only problem with battle meditation is that it is a mind technique. While it may work with lots of people, would it work against a strong willed Jedi? I'll bet that most council members could resist it.

I was not meaning this fight, I meant in general. We've seen how mind tricks cannot affect the Jedi. Would this fall in that category?

Yes I would agree, e_s. However, when someone is as skilled in BM as Nomi is, it takes away from the power of the trump itself, making it easier to destroy. On her own, I doubt Nomi could take the trump, but using BM would give her the edge.

Horax, BM isn't in the same category as the Jedi Mind Trick, which is forcing images into a person's mind. BM has been used before against Darkside users.

Let's close this out. Horax, e_s, if we going to finish this - we are going to finish this full throttle, that ought to keep King Wiggins off our backs.

    THE CHAMPIONSHIP, GAME 2:
Insane Force Posse (2) vs. The Force Knights (2)
    Even Piell vs. Voolvif Monn
The one-eyed wonder takes out the wolf man with exceptional sword skills and a higher Force ability.

    Winner: Even Piell

That is my pick. Let the flaming begin.

It isn't over yet Corran. If Plo Koon can get a win. Who is QGJ2's final person? Plus you've beaten him twice in team battle. Don't give up so easily.

I forgot about Luke. You did lose then.

You still did a fantastic job though. 2nd place is not too shabby at all. Don't get down on yourself. Sometimes you don't get the right match ups and he was lucky enough to get them twice in a row that is all.

First of all, I haven't been "humbled" e_s. I'll wait until I lose two straight draft before that happens. Also, I know that Anakin would have been able to take that trump last round since he is a franchise player, as you put it.

Anyways, great job QGJ2. You had luck on your side and it proved to be the difference maker. Congratulations and I'll see you next draft.

Oh i'm not down Niktos. I'm a little pissed off at the outcome, but I'm far from down. Afterall, it's only a game.

When I start getting all crazy and accussing everyone of a giant conspiracy against me, like some other people we've seen *cough*e_s*cough*, then you'll know I'm down.

I'm pretty happy I got this far, to tell you the truth. After starting in the 7th spot, I wasn't expecting much.
